Oh! Calcutta Indian Restaurant

Nothing Calcutta about it. We were expecting some authentic Bengali cuisine but realised it's just another North Indian restaurant. They "borrowed" a very popular Indian chain of restaurants name. Hmmmm

I ordered online and it said it would be ready in 30 minute and it was late by 40 minute so I had to wait over an hour for meal

Do not order from this restaurant, food takes forever to arrive, rude staff and slow service.
They simply can’t cope!

Amazing food. Menu choices are huge. Mixed platters are large serves. Husband and I were stuffed before we even got to our main meals. Quick service, knowledge staff. Highly recommend.

I ordered via Menulog. After over an hour contacted the restaurant to follow up on whereabouts of my order. Was told they were very busy and order hadn't been started. Was offered that I could collect, which I declined. Told that I could cancel with Menulog, which I was unable to do. Followed up with Menulog to obtain a refund. Apparently restaurant declined to refund an order that was that was never delivered. Disappointed to say the least.

Great food good drinks. Had to wait a little while for food but well worth it. Delicious. They do alot of take away. You will need to book for a table, small place but atmosphere good.

Tastelessness at extreme … I took chicken korma and its gravy was so full of garam masala and so bad …chicken pieces were tasteless as if cooked separately and then mixed with garam masala gravy… waste of money and time

One of the best Indian places down south, I could not get enough of their curries have tried quite a few of them and all are amazing and their naan too. All made fresh to order and have to wait a little but definitely worth it!

Picked up something pre ordered, takeaway tonight. Once again the food brilliant.

I've eaten from all the local indian restaurants, this is by far the best.
Really great food, also good quality meat, no fat.

Love this place, decibel the best curry around. Their mango chicken is superb, no one has matched it any where to date. Staff are friendly, chef is a great bloke and cooks up a storm. They have some great deals and offer take away and they deliver also, which I use frequently.
If you haven't been, I highly recommend you do. The menu is full of yummy goodies, you won't be disappointed.

First time back for over 25 + years. Was not disappointed. Food was delightful. Service good. Prices very reasonable. Will be back soon, no doubt.

Service is good. Tandoori chicken was a bit cold. Biryani was different from Calcutta biryani it was more like Marathi style or Tamil style.

Oh Calcutta is a gem of flavour! Traditional Indian food with flavoursome depth and a good amount. Well deserved praise for this restaurant. Many other Indian restaurants don't have the hit of taste these dishes have. Well done Oh Calcutta. A long time wait to taste this food became overdue. This food is just brilliant.

Best indian restaurant down south hands down. The Shiraz is fantastic and I want to go back for more. Great service also.

It's warm inside so get yourself out and about in winter and treat yourself!

Ordered 2 combo’s and some extra rice via Menulog tonight.
It fed 4 family members twice and then some. It was some of the best Indian food I’ve tasted.
I haven’t ordered from here for a long time and it didn’t disappoint tonight.

4 of us dined there last night, great friendly service and the food was absolutely delicious. We all loved everything we ordered. Highly recommend this place

Best Indian food in the South by a long way. Do yourself a favour and give it a try, you won't regret it.

Oh Calcutta really does have decent Indian cuisine and consistently gets it right. Highly recommended
