Nice spot for coffee n breakfast/lunch. Love the view too. Staff are nice too! A Good place to catch up with friends.

Went here for a nice Brekky with my friend. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The vibe of the space is awesome and very cute. Great Instagram aesthetic if you’re after that! You can also have a lovely view of the water!
The food was also really nice along with the drinks.
Certainly recommend a visit to this place!

Food has gone downhill massively, you’ll notice most of the good reviews and nice photos of food are from years ago.
Shame such a nice spot has such mediocre food.
Hopefully they will step it up again.

Had brunch yesterday (26/2). I understand it was busier than usual due to to the rowing competition but the staff who took my order (young lady with jet black hair) at around 2.40 pm was shockingly rude! There was absolutely no need for that, as I just wanted to pay and order my food!

If they had any other personal issues to be that nasty, may be shouldn’t have come to work? Will never visit again.

Dropped in for a quiet coffee with my son late afternoon, the kitchen was closed but they were happy to accommodate us with drinks. Relaxed atmosphere. Great staff!

Amazing and fresh menu options, friendly staff and a great view of West Lakes while you’re eating. The decor is fresh and inviting too.
The food was a little slow to come out so don’t be in a rush.
Will be coming back to try the other dishes.

Great place for brunch light lunch or breakfast.
The food is fresh and delicious.
The Mexican fritters is very good! The sausage is a bit spice and delicious the mix of eggs avocado and corn is just right!
Outside looks a bit run down but inside is beautiful fresh with lots of plants.
Service is friendly and fast.my only complaint is that you gave to place your order by the counter. I wish they had service table.
The view of the lake is magnificent and you can also grab your food and eat on the grass or by the playground near by.
Plenty of parking as well.

Nice views and good food. They were accomodating for a walk-in table even though the place was very busy due to rowing competitions going on. Service was quick and polite, the menu has a wide variety and they do ‘all-day’ breakfast.

Have messaged them multiple times for a booking and no reply. Don’t answer their phone for bookings either. Decided to just go there without a booking and they closed before 3. (Website says close at 3: 30pm). Would comment on the food but I can’t because I’ve never gotten to eat there.

Our group of seven celebrating an upcoming wedding had the worst experience at Oar cafe due of the dreadful way the female manager responded to a very reasonable and polite request for some substitute salad leaves, instead of the large serving of cooked greens which were served as a salad. The manager defended the dish, and then proceeded to badger the customer to the point where the customer had to ask the manager to leave her alone. It was the most disgraceful way to treat anyone, embarrassing to witness and completely unnecessary. Certainly spoilt the excited atmosphere we were enjoying.

Had brunch here and was probably the best brunch I've had in ages! I got the ricotta pancakes and have never tasted something so good! Everything on the plate tasted good together and the presentation was exceptional

Is a nice Cafe in a lovely location. They had a malfunction which delayed our two lunches by over an hour, we did receive a free coffee by way of apology. Food was tasty.

The old French toast was amazing and the good is usually of an excellent quality. The wait times for food and especially drinks is a bit ridiculous at times.

Great atmosphere, decent prices. Customer service below par and stay well away from the eggs Benedict hollinday sauce was terrible

It our first time going here, was so excited as I have seen good reviews. However, was a bit disappointed that our food took 45 minutes to arrive.

Overall, coffee, food and the staff were really nice.

This place was filled with people, we booked ahead of time and was able to get our table we ordered and then waited and waited, it was an hour later and we asked about our food. They bought it out 20min later. The portion size on my plate was way smaller than my friends we ordered the same, it seemed like they put whatever was left over on my plate. I wasn't that impressed with the food and it cost me an average of $30 dollars.
