Nullarbor Roadhouse reviews
64Excellent customer service and they are the nicest people that try to assist you any way they can after a long day in the car great bar and food
Necessary place to stay when travelling the Nullarbor because you really should not drive at night. Very expensive but not alot if choice. Stayed at caravan Park at the Roadhouse. Power only. No water or dump point. $30 for overnight sight. Staff at Roadhouse very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent.
Accommodation caravan park on but feel fuelled is a bit expensive considering 200 kms either way it is at least 20 cents cheaper I certainly will make other arrangements in future and by pass nullarbor. I might mention I am a frequent traveller on this road. Cheers
Took a burger for take away. Delisious and big. Fuel expensive, but yeah normal on that road in nowhere. Still cheaper than in my home country
After what seems like days of travelling, you come across an oasis in the vast nothing. Staff are friendly and helpful. Just an overnight stay, but well looked after.
Great meals very good prices considering the remote location
Friendly and helpful staff
Good clean rooms, very comfortable
Good parking for the car and trailer. The room was quite good and spacious and food at the restaurant was lovely
Good caravan park. Amenities need attention. But the water pressure was great allowing for an enjoyable shower. $1 for five minutes. Fuel extremely expensive $2.05pl for diesel. Overall a good place to stay.
I’m trying to workout who the drummer is in the mural in the bar now. Got all the other artists but not that one.
Stopped at the Nullarbor Roadhouse to grab some lunch. Food was amazing, and loved the heritage petrol station.
Very clean toilets. Has coin operated showers open to all to use. Long black ok as was soy latte. Certainly had worse this trip. Ham, tomato and mustard pickle sandy tasty. All in all a welcoming stop. Fuel cost average.
Good spot to stop.it's got showers for 1 dollar, washing machines, fuel, got some old stuff to take pics of.there's powered camp sites there and motel rooms.
We stopped to do one of the Nullarbor links golf holes. The camp ground has great artwork well worth a walk around.
Dont expect a meal unless your there after 5pm. You can only get breakfast or burgers chips sandwiches etc.
Pretty piss weak for a roadhouse when you've waited until you get there and bypassed other places expecting to be able to get a meal there.
Woman at counter wasnt the most pleasant either.
The food was very nice and the caravan park was great and the price was good I recommend a stopover there.
Nice Road house a good place to stop which will break the journey for fuel or snack has accomodation and basic facilites.
Food at the bar was good and toilets/showers were clean. Good spot to stop for the night. Beers were cold and coffee was hot!
Very friendly and respectful staff breakfast is very delicious.girl on the counter well mannerd and respectfull
One of the first stops along the Nullarbor before the border great place to stop pick up fuel and a feed before heading off in to
Disappointing. We arrived just before 8pm in early January.
Bar was closed, Restaurant was closed, everything was closed except the store, so only a pie etc available, with a huge stock of trashy tourist stuff, Elvis stubby holders and golden eagle tee shirts.
Powered van site was expensive for a piece of dirt.
Un powered van was also expensive for a piece of dirt.
Kids running around (as they do) as there are no kids facilities.
We stayed overnight in the front truck park which was free.
Fuel was an extortionate price (talk about gouging!) when just 100 klms further, a more realistic price was available.
That's just BS about "we have to freight it here"). The whole place was unwelcoming and totally set up to make money, not a place for travelers to rest and enjoy. We will not ever stay there again, but will plan accordingly so we can drive by at 100 kph and wave. The whole place is exactly what an Australian Roadhouse shouldn't be:
*Expensive
*Unwelcoming
*Opening hours only convenient to them, not the traveler (which is the whole point of a Roadhouse).
Save your money and keep going!
