Nullarbor Roadhouse reviews
64Fantastic place to stop and stay then find all the local tourist stops. Large open area to park a big rig. Great stuff. Fuels a bit expensive, but hell it's in the middle of nowhere, isn't it.
Stopped for a chicken burger lunch and after 40 mins and reminding them twice was told they forgot the order. You cannot be serious. Left with 2 sandwiches. Nullarbor Numbskulls.
Possibly the best roadhouse on the Nullarbor. A great range of supplies and the burgers are delicious, not to mention the sticky date pudding. Thanks to Adrian and the staff also for filling up my water bottles so I could make it to my next water drop!
Had a lovely stay, such friendly and helpful staff. Thought as a family of four vegans that we would struggle to get something to eat but they managed to provide a really impressive vegan burger and the chips were fantastic. Staff are so helpful would highly recommend staying here after a long day on the road!
Friendly, great price for powered site, but lacked the interstate tourist trade that makes this place a 5 star destination
Fuel at $2.01 for diesel is ridiculous. Exploitation at it's worst. Don't stop unless you have too
We love the skyline here. Treeless plain. Always met with friendly staff. Clean. Good food, cold beer. Reasonably priced for the nulla.
Good stop here. Well run, good food and good coffee. Clean maintained toilet and shower area. Can have a shower for $1.00.
Fuel price as expected.
A stopover I will remember. Only stayed 1 night but will revisit on our return trip home to NSW.
Had dinner at the restaurant, 4 of us were very satisfied with our meals and the staff were very efficient and friendly.
Close to the head of the bight whale watch and am looking forward to clear skies on our return trip to enjoy those magnificent sunrise and sets that many talk about.
I rank it 5 stars because after been 4.5 hours on the road I got the last room which was so peaceful clean and quiet. Didn't need more than that.
Great generous meals and not-too-bad rooms for a place in the middle of nowhere. Very comfortable!
The groceries and drinks in the shop are a bit pricey, but that’s to be expected for one of the most remote locations in Australia!
Cleanest showers and amenities I have seen, cost $1 for 5 minutes, beats a lot of caravan parks we have stayed at in the area. Coffee is great too, will return for sure.
Great coffee - great service with a smile. For anyone that wants to whinge about the prices charged by these amazing people running these Roadhouses across the Eyre Hwy please consider this - they have to generate their own power through diesel generators, they source their water from bores and de-salinate it or they truck it on from 100s km away, and delivery costs for essentials tend to be significantly more than your local Woolies. Stop your fn whinging and give these legends a pat on the back.
Very well catered for considering the isolation and weather conditions throughout the year.
Nice Late coffee and large cookies.
Great place for a shower and a rest.
Staying in their caravan park on power we had dinner in the roadhouse. Both meals were huge and the scotch fillet steak was so tender and beautifully cooked. Chips were best ever. One downside. I had a shower with plenty of hot water but the shower head needs replacing. I had to hold it up with one hand.
I go past every week and although I don't always stop, when I do indulge, I am always surprised in a good way, and it has been that way for a great many years
Great delicious food (huge serves) and friendly staff. Nice place to sit & enjoy dinner and kids loved the paper on table to draw.
Accommodation expensive. Comfy beds but very outdated, room very musty smelling and after travelling all day and hanging out for a hot shower (4 people) only a trickle came out and had to wait quite a while for water to get hot. (Nearly thought we would not be able to have showers at all). Towels very unpleasant smelling.
Great shop great pub, great staff and a great place to stay for the night. They have powered site, unpowered sites and motel rooms. After a long drive this is a great place to stay.
What a gem of a place out in the middle of nowhere. Staff were very professional and friendly. The meals were large, fresh and delicious! I had a beautiful scotch fillet steak cooked perfectly with a red wine jus
I loved the murals and history signage around the property and I really think $30 for a powered site was a very fair price. Clean amenities and great range of souvenirs in the gift shop.
Thanks Nullarbor Roadhouse!
