North Indian Cuisine reviews
71Great local Indian food. Have vegan options clearly marked. Very well priced. Ok to eat in. It's usually very busy with the queue out the door
Long waiting queue is a usual scene on weekends. Value for money meals. Excellent staff, mostly front served by a team of women. I am from Melbourne and I had visited Glenelg beach just after purchasing a new down jacket that evening. I had forgrtfully kept mobile in my new jacket after paying at the restaurant. Since it was my first evening wearing the jacket, I just couldn't find my mobile a few moments latter, when I looked for my regular jeans pockets. I insisted staff to check CCTV and they patiently obliged my request although it was peak rush hours for them. Thank you team, you are not only offering good food but also a great customer service.
Love this little server. Amazing food, amazing prices, fabulous staff. Can eat in if there's room. Very casual. Meat is always super tender here. Love it
I eat here probably twice a month. Never had a bad experience, always good.
Big serves, awesome tasting curries.i must admit their naan is not the best in my opinion, but its not worth losing a star over. Still 5 stars every day.
Can be a long line up as its very popular but it moves quickly.
If you're after good indian (ok maybe not entirely authentic.) This is the place to go, simple takeaway or dine in. Always busy (good thing) decent portions and cheap. I can't finish a medium takeaway. Just make sure they put meat in
Honestly if you need a feed this is the place.
Well, these guys have always good indian food, but this time the cheese and garlic naan was a big disappointment.
Have been eating here for ages.no frills, but the food never fails to impress and the prices are fantastic.finally fast service.
When Uber totally stuffs up your delivery… as in cancelling … and the the awesome staff at North Indian Cuisine have it covered and have the amazing BARFHET? (sincere apologies for misspelling) go out of his way to deliver the most awesome food at a time when it is most needed … we cannot thank these guys enough and just wish every good karma to them and their families for servicing us in such a beautiful way ️
Great tasty food. Drawbacks are quite busy and lot of colour and preservatives added to the food.
It’s not authentic Indian food as I am from India too. Having said that you will not get authentic Indian food anywhere in Australia
Cheap, fast, and big portions.my favourites were butter chicken and beef masannan.mango lassi is also delicious.
My all time favourite go to Indian restaurant. Quick service and nice taste.
Everything tastes good. Must try it.
To get a 5 from me is hard. But this placed deserves it, staff smiley friendly, helped with our choices. Then the food was so yummy, highly recommended.
I've never been a big fan of Indian cuisine but I have to admit that everything I eat at this place was delicious
My forever favorite Indian food. The food price is affordable, and Im so content everytime I had it.
Have been going to North Indian for 7 years now and it's by far the best authentic Indian in Adelaide. Love their takeaway deal of 3 dishes plus rice. Cheese naan to die for Great value for money. Highly recommend.
Ps. I now live 45 mins away and will still happily drive that far for quality food
Food is good but has been slightly modified to suit the aussie palates. Ambience is basic but the focus is on food. The combination thali is value for money. Nans were not rubbery thankfully as in most Indian take aways! I think they should go a notch higher on spicyness to improve authenticity. Overall a good experience. Quick clean service!
The food was very blend and the naan bread was hard and stringy. The lady who served me kept saying anything else, anything else!
Food was tasty but cold, didn't say anything as we were in a hurry, think the need to turn the temperature up on the Bain Marie's in future.
Excellent bang for yr buck. Just wish the curries ie vindaloo that say hot and xtra hot were actually that. All taste mild to me hence minus 1 star! Nonetheless my go to fast + cheap eat at Glenelg
The curries were delicious and very good value. We got the takeaway deal of three curries, rice, naan bread and a drink. The only reason Im giving a four star review is because we weren't very impressed with the naan. My partner and I both got garlic naans and we couldn't taste the garlic. It is very busy so you might want to ring ahead if you are planning to get takeaway but its worth the wait!
