North Indian Cuisine reviews
71Glad I found this place. Food is super good! I had a really good lunch on a sunny Sunday. I got a small portion of three coiches with rice eai in. Generous portions. Takeaways are smaller but cheaper. Really fair from them. Meat was delicious, and the mushrooms were perfect. Will definitely come back if I visit Glenelg again.
Fast and relatively cheap. Butter chicken is a winner but the rest is hit and miss. Often gets very busy and crowded when weather is good.
The food was not worth the price. I ordered two curries and they squeezed it into one small container. Do not order via user, go eat at the restaurant as they might be less cunning.
Cheap and cheerful Indian joint! Really yummy and oh my the prices are outrageously cheap. My husband and I ordered a large with 2 meat and 1 veg plus a garlic naan for 17 to share and it was so filling! We tried the lamb rogan josh and the butter chicken - both were delicious. For the veg, we had the spicy mixed veg which was fine but nothing special. The place was heaving - super buys but we were lucky to get a table. A yummy, no frills casual dinner. Would recommend
If you have one hour at least, only then order CHHOLE BHATURE. We got two plates after 55 minutes today as chef was busy frying papads.
Well not a bad restaurant, we found it to a little expensive, the size of the serving was quite small and the taste was OK. They could work on the pricing a bit and provide good value for money
Deicious food at affordable prices. The Aloo Eggplant and Butter Chicken are my favourites.
Very affordable price, so many Indian food option. I like the garlic and chees nan, chicken masala also good and my fav was the Mango Lashi, OMG i love it. They also have really fast and good service. And when you ask for take away container for left over food, they will give you for free when other places charge you for $0.50
Great beef vindaloo. However the Bhutara was not as good as it once was. Service was friendly and price was good. Meat was very tender.
For a "fast food" style Indian take out there food is quite tasty and fresh because of the turnover. Really happy with the price and the amount of food I received!
Enjoyed the food and for $21 got enough for 2 good feeds. Looks like my go to place for Indian now. Many people coming and going with takeaway so looks popular.
Good indian foods and small snacks like Samosas, Bhajis, and parathas. Plus, meal deals with rice and curries. Budget price and many vatieties. Service can be better. Seating spaces available as well as take away.
A very popular takeaway with limited dine-in tables. The food is served from bain maries, but as there are so many customers, it's always fresh. At peak times, lines stretch out the door and onto the street. Don't be dissuaded though, as service is really fast. The food is really good, with the mixed dahl, lamb korma and butter chicken being highlights. There are plenty of vegetarian options, and a range of naan breads to choose from. The prices are exceptional. I eat there every time I visit Adelaide.
Really great curries, presented in a buffet to choose which ones and how many you want. Really well priced, generous serves and fast service. I recommend getting a bigger size so you can fill a take away container with the left overs to enjoy again.
Busy during dinner. Most of the time you will wait in line from the road. But it is worth the wait.
Budget friendly and taste bud sensation. Quality meets quantity plus affordable price.
Service however needs more professional touch.
I order three large size meat curries and what they did is added all three curries on one single medium sized container. All three curries are mixed in one container. Never expected this. Very unsatisfied
Fast customer service and also nice food. I have been going there regularly and cannot complain about anything. I need also to highlight that this place is quite cheap, it's a great value for money.
Always get take out from this place! I wouldn’t recommend you order delivery as pick up is so much better. Food is fresh, great value and service is nice. The naan bread is pretty average, hence the 4/5. But overall it’s yummy for the value.
Best Indian in Adelaide! We love going here on Friday nights for either dine in or take away. Great food, great service and absolutely the most delicious butter chicken around!
This restaurant is amazing a so cheap, portion is generous. The flavour is consistent week by week. I like coming at least once a week. The chicken masala and bitter chicken are my favourites, the cheese garlic naan it's a bit bland. Costumer service is good
