Montezuma's Mexican Restaurant & Bar - Glenelg, SA reviews
51Staff were friendly but the food wasn't great though the serves were generous. Seats were uncomfortable and we were seated at the front which was drafty on a cold night.
Amazing food, never have to wait to long to get food. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Overall, its a 5 stars from me
Was a great Sunday evening out after the movies. I had number 27 Durango on the menu.very nice and good flavour.worth a visit.can get busy around 7pm onwards.friendly and responsive staff
Fantastic to see a vegan menu! The vegan burrito is yummy. Wait staff were polite and the atmosphere was splendid! Definitely recommending to friends:)
Food was fairly average, not much flavour. Don’t order the vegetarian nachos - essentially just microwaved corn chips with cheese for 15 dollars. Burrito was okay but again lacking in much flavour. Over priced for what it is.
Fantastic meals, The food tastes and looks amazing. SAN ANTONIO Nachos are the best in my opinion. But all meals I have had taste great
Good food but very slack service. A wait staff came to our table after 20 minutes of arriving to take the order, but another lady staff (must be the manager/owner) came and asked the person serving us to help her out at the reception first and we were left hanging half way thru our order and had to wait another 10 mins before she came back.
But the extra wait was probably worth it as the taste took us back to Mexico!
This this a nice little restaurant with cool decor unfortunately I can say I left here a little disappointed.
I ordered the #24 California combination, it came with a beef burrito, chili con can and Spanish rice.
The burrito was more like an enchilada and the con can was bland. I also ordered a side of guacamole ($5~) and sour cream ($4~). The sizes of the sides were small to say the least, that's a teaspoon in the "bowl" that the guacamole came in.
On a positive note they have a large range of vegan and vegetarian options.
Enjoy the food and flavours every time. Simply wish that they included some craft beer and nicer wine on the menu to go with the tasty food.
The drinks were excellent and the staff were overwhelmed but friendly.the food however was bland, oily and soggy. I'd reccomend NOT getting the burrito it's the exact same as an enchilada but $4 extra for some bean paste. Or be extra safe and get the nachos (sour cream and guacamole sold separately). I was hoping for a great night to celebrate my coworkers birthday but I was heavily disappointed.
I am a Mexican food lover and the Pulled pork taco was the BEST taco I've ever had in my life 10/10
The Chicken taco was pretty bland needed some Mexican spices.
Margaritas were very lemony which I wasnt a huge fan of. Didnt taste like the traditional drink.
Over all I really like Montezumas. The decor is fantastic, music could have been a tad louder being a Saturday night would have been great to have got the feista started.
