Montezuma's Mexican Restaurant & Bar - Glenelg, SA

Very friendly staff. Went to make a booking, I loved how polite they were when they were on the phone to me, but also had to cancel and they were still very friendly which I appreciate very much, well done Montezumas at Glenelg

Twice in 2 weeks food was really excellent.

I like the food from this restaurant.the nachos escalates, burritos and tacos a 10 out of 10.one improvement for this restaurant is fix the door that closes too fast.

45 minutes before we got a drink! Waiting staff poor, both taking orders and delivery of drinks. Given bottles of water for table had to ask for glasses. Nearly an hour to get our bland food. Would never go there again.

I have a long-time love affair with this restaurant. It may be part of a chain, but the food is consistently good, the decor is unique and fun, and the staff have always been superb. If other restaurants in this chain are half as good as the Glenelg restaurant, then it would still be an awesome dining experience. (go for #17 combination - my fav on the menu!)

Had to attract a waitress after 45 minutes to order our drinks. They forgot/missed an order, surely when only 3 meals arrive for 4 people you think they would notice. Then the food, probably the most average tacos that I have had at a restaurant, no anywhere. Hadn’t been here for a long time, won’t ever return. Friendly service at least. Disappointing night out for my daughters 21st

Service was really good.
Got the vegan enchiladas. Was pretty good however the salad on the side wasn't that nice as it had raw cauliflower in it I believe. The enchilada was filled with refried beans. Maybe in the future they could start using a vegan mock beef instead.
The vegan churros was also very nice, so cinnamonny and sweet.

Food is sensational, so tasty and fresh. Loved the Sangria. You can taste the cinnamon and it's the best. Staff are so friendly. Do yourself a favour. Dine there!

Seems to be a definite decline in the quality/amount of food recently. Pulled pork nachos have gone from being too much to eat to almost all chips!

Great food and awesome atmosphere. A great way to escape to Mexico for a meal! I also really appreciate that they play Mexican music in store. Makes it much more immersive

It's always about the food. We've been going there for years because it's consistently good. An excellent variety of vegetarian dishes at reasonable prices and a great atmosphere.

Good food, pleasant prompt service, nice drinks in a quirky Mexican themed restaurant. What's not to like? We will be back.

My favourite Mexican in Glenelg! Great options on the menu including an extensive Vegan menu. Great service staff, the margarita's are delicious and the atmosphere is fun and fresh. One of my favourite lunch time spots and evening better for dinner with tasty Sangria.

Having enjoyed visits to the other Montezumas we were really looking forward to our dinner, but it was awful.

Nicest place weve been for ages. Delicious food that we had never tasted before.the staff were so friendly and had such personality. Will be back

Another memorable meal expertly cooked and presented. Great range of vegetarian/vegan options also available. Friendly front of house staff made for a thoroughly enjoyable outing.

I order take away from here once a week at-least. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the food always hit's the spot. By far the best Mexican in Adelaide no question. The owner is lovely and has a good understanding of what the customer wants. Also, the menu is spot on with the right amount of choices.

I loved the food but the service took forever at a guess about 30-45mins for our food order to be taken. The staff were really kind and lovely. No table service for drinks was annoying but I'd eat here again just because I loved my meal!

The service here is amazing. The food is amazing. The menu is elaborate with a drinks selection to match. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the place has a good vibe, their opening hours reflect their demographic and their location (close to a 2 hour free park) means you can stay and play and their proximity to the rest of Glenelg means you can walk off the huge portions by strolling down Jetty Rd. 10/10 always reccomend Monteys.
