So glad we have this store as our local. Always friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable staff.

I love shopping here. I always find what I am looking for. I always get excellent help. Smaller than a Bunnings but much much better.

Friendly and helpful service in a smaller hardware store. Range of garden plants, planters, fertiliser etc. Paint section has all the paint, fillers and tools for redecorating. Power tools and other hardware. Selection of timber and steel. Pipes, fittings and tapware for plumbing projects.

Great set out of the place, easy to find things.
The garden centre is gorgeous and has so many selections of plants, it was hard to choose just one (so I bought multiple). The staff were very lovely and helpful. One of the staff members, Montana, was very great and helped me pick out the things I needed and also gave lovely conversation.

Handy place to get most DIY items and garden products, not as compendium as other stores but good for common items

I went specifically to buy mulch but left with Lilly Pilly with psyllids crawling over it and was assured they would not infect it as it is supposed to be psyllid resistant and a lot of other stuff. I left the weed wand at counter. I definitely can see psyllid growth in new leaves.

I went in today with a not straightforward problem with a timer on a watering system. Niall (I may have the spelling wrong) from horticulture section was an absolute legend. Spent time with me to ensure I got the solution I needed and was extremely helpful. Took a lot of pride in his work and ensured I left with all of my needs met and a very happy customer. Always enjoy such a positive service experience. Niall was extremely helpful, I couldn't have asked for better. Thank you very much!

Would rate higher as overall this is a good store, but for some reason they always have staff who clearly hate serving customers in the garden centre. They try to not even look at you. Bunnings staff are much friendlier.

Since early August this yr I've been undertaking some maintenance work at Malvern. I've utilised this store on a number of occasions and every interaction with the staff has been A1.
Store is set out well so it's easy to find what u need quickly. Keep doing what you're doing as you're doing it well

Very helpfull, a particular staff member spent time with me to resolve a problem i had on site. Resulted in no sale that day, but would certainly return if im going to receive this level of customer service

As someone that feels uncomfortable with most things DIY, going into a hardware store can be an overwhelming task. The staff at Mitre 10 Barrow & Bench are super friendly, helpful and they know their stuff. They swiftly found everything on my shopping list for me (stark comparison to larger chains where it is so hard to get assistance!). I found a beautiful gift from the plant nursery AND my kids were also welcomed and given a colouring in set. Thumbs up for this local business!
