Unfortunately, the clinic’s good GPs are ‘supported’ by very inefficient systems delivered by (mostly) very unfriendly staff, many of whom display a distinct lack of listening skills or care factor. Others seem to treat patients with disdain; as if they are nothing but a nuisance. For over a decade, I’m yet to see one particular staff member smile or be pleasant to anyone. Making an appointment is far too difficult. Calls remain unanswered for an unacceptable, ridiculously long time. It seems no-one is directly responsible for answering the phone; it is just left to ring and ring and ring. Checking in (and out) is also a dysfunctional and disorganised process. This is due to a bad or non-existent system which is exacerbated by the poor design and layout of the clinic itself. The bad positioning of reception sees patients crowd into a tiny doorway, all standing whilst they wait (and wait, and wait) just to check in. During winter, they get blasted with cold air each time someone enters or exits. For many reasons it is a very frustrating, stress inducing place to deal with. Given that other clinics function with friendliness and efficiently, I can only conclude that poor management is responsible for the seemingly perpetual chaos at Midwest. If it wasn’t for our great GP, our whole family would have stopped going to this clinic years ago.

Always well looked after, caring G P who goes above and beyond. Can't speak highly enough of. Very personable, listens and thinks, talks to you openly, in plain easy to understand language. Haven't had any bad experiences. Nice to feel you have a friend you can talk to openly. Well done Mid West Medical.

I Paid my due bill by phone but no one tell me about if i paid by card surcharges will be apply and also no mention in bill about surcharge as well. They charge me $ 0.55 extra not really happy.

I was a patient at this place for over 5 years. The doctors there don't seem to care how long they keep you waiting. The average wait time is an hour or more. Today I lost my patience after only waiting an unreasonable 45 minutes to see Dr Luke Christian. I've had a total gut full of this overcrowded mess of a place. You have all been warned. To be avoided if possible. There are way better services and medical centres in Adelaide. What a waste of my time. Cheers. Just an update to your response. If you can promise not to keep me waiting for a ridiculous amount of time, I would reconsider using your practice. I have spent over 40 hours in your waiting room over the past 5 years. Now I have no doctor at all. Thanks

Although the wait here is very long, the doctors are very friendly, attentive and always listen to all of your issues. There is also a pharmacy, blood collection center in the building so very convenient.

Doctors are good but waiting time is ridiculous. Every time I have an appointment I have had to wait at least 45 minutes. I have other things to do with my day, not just sitting around waiting to be seen at who knows what time

Went there for my Corvid 19 vacation. Found the staff from front desk to nursing staff very friendly and helpful. Dr Cocchiaro was very friendly and easy to talk to. Overall I was very happy with my visit to this clinic

This would have to be the worst clinic for having to make an appointment. Longest waiting time on hold, can actually go to 30 min plus, but also line will disconnect where you need to recall and go through the whole procedure again. It’s frustrating where you can leave your phone on speaker and do other chores. This is an ongoing issue with this clinic. Doesn’t help either that they do double book and waiting time in waiting area is just as long. You can wait anything up to an hour before you see the doctor. Unfortunately for my parent, they have been seeing the same doctor fir years and have followed them here or else would have found another clinic without this much if an issue.

Myself and my family have been coming here for a few years now, the Dr's are great, however the desk staff are never friendly, doesn't take much to smile surely even when busy and has always been the same. Back patient service.

Was told I could organise to have an appointment over the phone. Then was told 20 minutes before the organised phone call that I needed to come to the clinic in person.
Was required to wait in my hot car for 60+ minutes whilst being sick.
All this for a sick certificate for work.

Reception staff always fit me in where they can, very good doctors. Clinic is very busy, keep up the good work

You’d be lucky to get in 2 hours after your allocated appointment time. They average 3-4 hours from your initial time so be ready to set up camp. I’d recommend a fully charged phone and wireless headphones for that luxurious experience to get you through the agony of watching all the people who came after you proceed to attend their appointment and leave whilst you lay dormant waiting for that tender moment when the doctor yells out your name and you jump for joy when in reality it’s another guy with the same generic name. 10/10 would recommended. Doctors and staff are great.

And have the upmost Respect for the Doctors.
They are professional, and caring.
And address, emergency situations as they arise.

Great place I have been going there for 30 plus years even when they had their old office. In times of emergency they have always gone out of there way Tony, Pat, Lina and all the doctors there keep up the great work 5 stars all round

The doctors here are nice if you get the right one, but the wait times are just ridiculous. There is always an excessive wait with no apparent explanation. They clearly have an issue with the scheduling which there doesn't seem to be any inclination to fix

The Doctors are highly professional and caring in their approach to care. Great access re parking and a fabulous one stop centre re professional health. Excellent

Not my usual GP. Needed to see a Dr Urgently because my GP could not fit me in. Receptionist very helpful, Dr very thorough! I will be making Midwest my new regular clinic.

Appalling service. Waiting for a scheduled appointment over one hour and a quarter (still we have not seen a doctor) with my elderly father who is unwell and struggling. Unprofessional and appalling service.

Doctor was very thorough and explained things perfectly. Great opening hours and reasonable wait time.
