Melba's Chocolates reviews
51 Perfect Father's Day present. Called in to Melba's Chocolates and purchased a $25 bag with all the favourite's a dad would like. My Dad is 90 and he will just love these in front of the telly.
Happy Father's Dad.
We live in the North East suburbs, we went up for a day in the hills to Hahndorf, Lobethal, Mount Lofty and Gumeracha. Melba’s chocolate factory was one of our stops, The factory itself is a nice old fashion entrance. You are then greeted by a bunch of delicious chocolates. The Woman behind the counter was very nice aswell. Great day to spend a day with my family. Will definitely be coming back soon!
Visited on "world chocolate day", a kind hearted sentiment but massively under-catered for event.
Over an hour line up for a face paint & a seperate hour line up for a balloon. Then a third god- knows- how- long line up to actually get in.
Such a disappointment. Wish we had visited the day before and forgone the "free" / hours of your life gone perks.
I assumed this place was a museum but was mistaken as its just a shop with a viewing window to see certain chocolates being made. With covid restrictions its quiet and the taste testing its on. Great chocolates.ended up spending $65! Safe to say my toddler was so overwhelmed:)
Always my fix for a sweet tooth, excels in choice and product flavours, always a treat to the taste buds a must visit if you are a sweet tooth.
Great service wonderful place to visit always a pleasure on my many visits.

Happy Father's Dad.
As a disability support worker I was asked by my vision impaired client to visit Melba's Chocolate, it was easy to get around and the staff member who served us was absolutely fantastic talking directly to my client and letting her know where her bag was after payment.
Hot Chocolate was great but too small. They are tiny. Get a large. Raspberry twist coated licorice is great! Licorice bullets were terrible though soo hard inedible.
Great range of lollies then chocolates to choose from. An absolute place of conundrums for the grandies.
As a IDDMer it was great to find a nice selection of sugar free chocolates that weren't made of carob. I just might have to take up eating chocolate again.
Best hot chocolate on the planet! The chocolate and lollies are awesome and the atmosphere is welcoming, interesting and a truly happy experience! We all love going there
Always love going here.
The staff are always friendly and obliging.
They do get to know you over time and recognised me through my order history.
The chocolate and variety are exquisite and always available, rare to be out of stock.
It is great to watch the lines in action and what they making and explain what is going through the line.
Here's a great place to bring interstate visitors or anyone with a sweet tooth.
They have a great range of chocolates and other sweets. You can see confectionery being made and get the best hot chocolate you've ever tasted.
But here's a tip from parents of a toddler: white chocolate doesn't necessarily mean less mess.
We were riding the Amy Gillet bicycle track with the kids (6 & 7) and decided to pop in. A silly idea as it was before lunch so getting the kids out without starting WWIII was a challenge. Would have been better if we weren't tired and hungry.
Absolute gem of a place nestled away in the back of Woodside - this was my favourite place to sit back and write in the midday sun for quite some time. The smells, the ambiance and the service all hit differently.
Can't fault anything about Melbas.
I've sent my fair share of chocolates to family around Australia, and in my future adventures to South Australia I'll be making sure to come and visit.
Some really nice chocolates. They have a great range. The kids will love it here so many varieties of chocolates to choose from.
Massive range of chocolate, lollies, gift bags and gift boxes big and small. Three different sorts of hot chocolates. Seating area outside.
They had free face painting n balloon animals for the kids as well as games on the front grass area.
Spuds van and coffee/shakes inside was great for the adults.
Chocolate always tasty at Melba's
Great products. The chocolate is amazing. And the staff are lovely and happy to share and help.
Very cute inside. It nice to see the way it is made.
An old fashioned chocolate factory that definitely worth a visit if you are a chocolate fan.
Has all kinds of flavour, drinks and ice cream.
They also provide a playground outside. Kids will love this play for sure.
Great old fashioned Chocolate factory. You can't help coming out with a few purchases. The hilarious cow pat chocolate! Who would have thought Aussie humour in chocolate form!
