McDonald's Felixstow

Freshly made food, clean restaurant & friendly staff who were super busy as it was school holidays & raining so the place was packed with kids

I used to go to this McDonald's with my children because it's the only McDonald's in the area they have Glynde shopping center across the car park to them they are clean and have a small playground for the little ones where you can easily see them from the big windows they have. They also have a couple of small tables set up for if you want to eat with the kids while they are playing.

A great place to visit if you like to do your own order and have a dislike of face-to-face service. Also the place to be if you enjoy waiting half an hour for a hot chocolate. Thankfully the dreary in-store music keeps you comatose while you endure the waiting time.

Worst meal I have ever had! Spent $42.00 for rubbish! Complained to HO 3 times via website and nothing.called to talk to someone who said they had escalated my complaint and the store would contact me. Received an email from the manager after he said he "tried"to ring - rubbish! Gave a some story about checking CCTV footage of the staff cooking and even asked to see a receipt (this was about 2 months later that he made contact). Emailed back a month later for a reply and nothing!
This was a year ago - have never been back to that store or eaten McDonalds since and will not ever again!
Good customer service? - they don''t care!

Screwed up my burger order.but not the first time this has happened. Took back to the counter and got a new one.

But what REALLY disgusted me was the conduct of the manager/owner towards the staff and the reason for one star. He must have yelled out 'What's the hold up? ' at least 8 times while I was waiting. It was over the top and borderline harassment the way he was speaking in front of other staff and customers. Trying to go all Gordon Ramsay.

I was telling this story to someone else who obersved the same thing when they went there!

Went through the drive through and ordered my mean. Needed to reaperat myself 4 times before they finally got it right then to get home and realise that all of my means had med chips and not large. Got the large drink but couldn't work out the chips. Even the extra chips ordered wasn't there! Whats the quality check like if you cant get a simple order right! And why have a phone number is you dont answer it and dont have an ability to leave at least am message! What a waste of time.

Went down there yesterday and ordered my meal. Waited about 15 minutes while being the only person in line waiting, staff were having more fun chatting and hugging each other in the register area while making my food. Got my tray, realized my chips and hash brown werent even on it and had to go back to get them, came back to my table 30 seconds later and found out my burger bun was as cold as my drink, burger was fine but service was terrible.

Very disappointed been there tonight and there coffee shake and chocolate shake was like normal, was strong and watery, went back to complain they never been like this before for the manager to come out and say they been like this for some time! Came home and tipped down sink! $10.50 for water! The other day I went to Mc Donald at Ttp and guess what there large Coffee shakes are the normal shake size.not like Felixstow's who are a 1/3 smaller, ripped off I say, thought would be the same across the board. I use to work at this store in my younger days and always supported this store.well no longer! How can the manger say that they have been like that for a while, it was the consistency of a milk shake.not happy Jan! Think this site going down the drain!

A busy drive through meant that there was an extended wait in the dining room. By the looks, a few more staff would have helped. Oh. I hate cold fries!

Crew were attending to drive through orders at the expense of those in the restaurant. 7 minutes after I paid for my order it still had not been bagged (but had been sitting in their warming area for quite some time) had to complain to a staff member to get it done. Finally got home to find half the fries were missing. Contacted McDonalds at the time but no one has called me back

Order a burger had wait for a cold burger which when I opened box and lifted the burger lid to put on properly a filthy fly crawled across my burger meat. Then 1 appeared to crawl from the back of the burger to the top. I've spent a hour ringing the number for the felixstow store where not once after 30 calls was the phone answered. This is very poor service!

Got really surprised Mc actually got table service and that was surprisingly good too!

Now to be fair 3 star is only because this McDonald's store has no tills you pay and order from the TV board things and I am old school I won't use them I won't use self serve checkouts if possible getting harder not to as less checkouts open now the staff at this McDonald's 5 stars are very helpful directing and assisting people with the use of the machines forget what you call them but I won't be back to this McDonald's and probably end up not eating at any of the when they all change.over to the self ordering boards or app

Everytime my family or i go to this McDonald's the order is always wrong! They dont care about fixing it either or apologising. Food is always cold too. This is possibly the worst mcdonalds i have been to. I would rather drive the distance to magill for better food and service. They are always rude! Staff look miserable all the time snd clearly have a listening problem.

On the drive thru I asked for Kechup on the side but they forgot to put it in my order.also I asked for no ice in my drink but it had ice.so I did not enjoy my meal!

I was only one in Drive thru at time, gave me my drink and asked me to wait in waiting bay, waited almost 20 mins until I angrily decided to go into the store to get my order they had obviously forgotten! As I was standing waiting to talk to someone I saw someone going out with my order! Collected from her.get to my car, start to drive off, and opened my order only half serve of large fries and my burger was terrible (Spicy Chicken) meat was hard and over cooked! At least the drive thru server was polite to start the whole order! Terrible experience from then on!

Awful customer service. Coffee isn’t brewed right and they always get the orders wrong or omit syrup that you’ve clearly paid for. Had occasions where the young women at the drive thru have dropped our change and instead of just giving us the amount and collecting it after like most places, they’ll tell you to get it or that they could which most people would decline if they’re in a rush. Don’t want to know how much money they’ve ripped off of customers as we could clearly see her collecting it after we’d collected our food.

Worst Macca's ever, never been there without waiting in a bay, even for the simplest of food and no other drive through customes. Horrendous

Great place. Friendly staff and served very quickly. Lots of places to sit whether at a table or booth. They have self order machines as well as the counter with real people. Also a drive through. There is a playground for the kids.

I've been disappointed with the quality and consistency of food the last three times I've been here. Service has been fine by maccas standards.
