Mayfair Hotel reviews
70Beautiful historic building with stunning, large rooms in an ideal location. Clean, fresh, stylish hotel with great service. Couldn’t have asked for more.
Excellent Hotel. Professional but warm and friendly. Love the free mini-bar and wifi. Restaurant has a good selection at a premium price and value. Great service.
Fab hotel.
Situated in the heart of the city. Walk out the front door and you are few steps away from.the Rundle Mall & the tram.
The hotel is great, the roof top bar could be great for hotel guests but filled up with 18 year olds already drunk before they arrived which made it not a great environment.
Excellent hotel central to all amenities, only a short walk to shops, restaurants and the city's transport system is free so no problem getting around
Very nice place to say rooms are good size and clean. Good location close to everything. Would stay again
Really stylish rooftop bar, loved that they had an in house bee hive to use as ingredients for cocktails, great place to have a quiet few drinks on a saturday afternoon. Didnt see any of the other facilites but it all looked pretty sweet.
Went there to attend a wedding reception. Staffs were helpful and kind, always have a smile on their face while serving the customers. Food and drinks were good, especially their signature dessert honeycomb lemon tart.
Great hotel with excellent friendly service. Room and the fitout is of high standards and quality.
A few points for improvement, wifi is slow so had to use my mobile data for the duration of my stay, Corner Lamp was faulty which we reported on the first night but was not addressed so we had a dark corner for the duration of our stay. We would also avoid the food next time.
Brilliant hotel. Great service from all staff. Super clean and very luxe and comfortable. Mentioned that my wife and I were celebrating a special anniversary and they sent up a bottle of complimentary champagne within 20 minutes. Lots of nice little touches and attention to detail.
Beautiful grand hotel. One of the best I have stayed in, in Adelaide. Make sure you check out the Hennessy Rooftop Bar if you have the chance.
Really enjoyed the Mayfair. It definitely had an old world almost gothic vibe about it. My room was spacious and the room service meals I got weren't too bad at all. Strangely the shower in the room I had was bigger than the entire bathroom in my old apartment so that was interesting (and no there weren't two shower heads if that's what you're thinking.). Only thing that was a bit of a let down was the buffet breakfast in the morning - while I get it's not easy to keep a constant flow of food available, the quality of some things left a little to be desired. Bacon was way overcooked, hash browns were cold, small things but unfortunate things.
Breakfast needs to be upgraded. Coffee was bitter. Staff was pleasant the rooms were clean. Valet parking was quick and easy. Liked everything except the breakfast, food needs to be better - Breakfast staff need to be bit more on the ball.
A beautiful place to stay in the heart of the city. Breakfast was exceptional and staff were first class.
Maddi was absolutely amazing to deal with and she was so friendly and warm and went out of her way to help both myself and my collegue. The guys at the concierge desk were also amazing! Definitely 5 star service!
Hotel layout was beautiful and modern, bed was super comfortable. Great friendly staff and lovely breakfast buffet
The best place I've ever been. By far best customer service I've seen all over the world. Truly a step above the only place to stay in Adelaide
Nice hotel, great location and friendly, helpful staff. Unfortunately housekeeping let us down. Second day, no refill of drinks and condiments from the mini bar - not even fresh bottles of water. All in all a pleasant stay.
One rude staff from Mayflower (in famle uniform suit- too shocked to asked for the position) ruined the night in Mayfair; would be great if they have been trained and chonsen the staff who were well mannered. (still gratefull for those who were polite and sweet.)
