Mantra Hindmarsh Square reviews
79Checked in, stale stinking food left in the fridge, no wifi access that was only obtained after calling back to the reception to get a code, when it connected, no functionality for basic email, all within 15 mins of checking in can’t wait for the next four days
This is a good place. I stay in Adelaide a bit and this is much better than other places. Nice Apts. Handy location. On-site parking. Staff were great.
Very dissatisfied, booked in for 3 days. No fresh towels we had to ask for tea and toilet paper and the rest no freshly made bed. We paid a hight price for this room and it was a disaster. No bar restaurant closed it was more like a budget hotel. Won’t be back
WIFI is unusable, have to hotspot your own phone. Very slow front desk service.
Disappointing.
Verry nice place to stay right in town nice and spacious. I would certainly recommend. All we were missing was being able to login to netflix on tvs and the shower tap kept falling off.
Upon arrival, we had requested an early check-in, but told nothing was available. That was fine, but arriving back at normal check in time (2pm), the rooms still weren't available, and they couldn't offer anything to explain or compliment our time spent waiting. Staff are very reserved, no real engagement.
Bathroom was not great, water leaking away from the shower cubicle. Hotel room seems like it was built for people that are shorter than 5"5, couldn't fit under shower head, and basin's really low.
Just a place to sleep really, nothing to separate this place to other's.
I moved from Adelaide Rockford to this hotel. Much better staff experience and quality. I stay at accor all the time so trust me in saying this is a better place.
My first interstate trip in over a year and I felt right at home staying at mantra.all the staff were very friendly and helpful.my room was quiet and comfortable.location was perfect for my visit. I will happily stay here again in the future
Want a hotel room? They have them. There are no other distinguishing features that set this hotel apart from other hotels.
I haven't stayed here, I only picked up people to take them out for dinner at the Barossa Valley.
My brother has stayed here before, so I went in to see him and had a meal.
The hotel was excellent and well presented. It is modern and well worth the stay.
Excellent Staff and a great convenient place to stay.the only thing you can knock is car parking was really tight.would not want a large vehicle.
Hi! M a regular guest in mantra since 2015 cos my two son was studying in pembroke. The last time I went was 2019 November 15. And I paid 100aud till today I didn’t get my refund/deposit.pls look into tis matter.tq
Hotel is substandard for the rates they charge. The service levels are substandard, had to wait at Reception for some time before we get any service.
Utencils and crockery was not clean, esp during pandemic times you would want them to be clean at least. Park view suite was very basic. Was advertised it sleeps 4 but only 2 of everything. Other hotel guests had a massive party from 1am till about 3 am with shouting and doors slamming.just reminded me of a youth hostel. Centrally located and within walking distance of all cbd shops. Underground carpark rather tight for large vehicles such as 4x4s. Restaurant down stairs was closed all the time. Expected a bit more for the money.
Very aggressive sales tactic the company paid by American Express for 3 nights nearly $500 dollars for my stay. The counter clerk insisted upon a $100 deposit to hold for security. I told him the company has covered the full cost of the stay. Dated rooms very dark and dingy not very clean. No breakfast included @ $22 dollars. Don’t waste your money very expensive and rude staff stay at the ibis it’s cheaper and breakfast is included.
Not a bad hotel, but they came to knock us out before our checkout time had even come. Was a bit off putting.
Enjoyed 4 nights last week while visiting for work. Apartment was huge. King bed in the main bedroom was comfortable. Location was perfect for an inner city stay. Highly recommended.
Modern two bedroom apartment style suite on the third floor. Keycard access, even external after hours which was great. Once I worked out I could turn the fan off, it was very quiet. Convenient access to that corner of the CBD with good places to eat nearby. Didn't eat at the attached restaurant due to work commitments.
Bed was comfortable. Kitchen facilities made for giants not short people like me. Toilet cistern water continuously running. Shower was great.
Great apartments very large and spacious with everything you need. Nice and central to everything in Adelaide. Service great.
