Lobethal Bierhaus reviews
84Just a short halt to check it out and got a mix 12 pack. Place has a very nice ambiance. I will plan for a day trip and experience it better.
Good selection of beers. The beers are a bit more traditional, which is refreshing. Their Hefe was awesome! Excellent food too!
Great vibe and awesome food! Will definitely come again as I have heard great reviews. Only thing, just wish the wait staff were a bit more engaging - a bit less deflated.
Enjoyed a meal there with family. Was a nice day and eat outside sheltered by a large umbrella. Didnt have to wait long for our meal. All credit to the staff as they were quite busy. So prompt service and a well prepared and tasty meal.
Great Place, Staff and range of beers.
A deffinite place to call into for a meal and a drink when in the Adelaide Hills and watch the world go by.
Not the biggest menu but nice food. Could have done without the wasps. Good selection of beers. Something for everyone. Great deals on take away beers.
Some very nice beers to be found here. Make sure you call in and grab yourself a tasting paddle, or a pint of your favourite brew.
Did the brewery tour with the owner, Al. You can tell he’s passionate about his place and his beers.
Tasting was pleasant and beers really good.
Customer service is impeccable.
Lots of reserved tables so it looks like a popular spot for lunches. Book ahead!
Popped in yesterday, great customer service and food, the lamb cutlets and buffalo wings were superb
Round #3
After a long week, wifey & I popped down for a quick bite and beverage as the sun went down on another Friday evening.
A cold tap poured Pale Ale & local Rosè was just the thing to wash down our Salmon & Pork dishes. Both Coeliac friendly and delicious.
Thanks Alistair, Rose, Chef & Team for setting the tone for the weekend.
Round #2
Sneaky summer lunches with my daughter are better at the Lobethal Bierhaus.
Sunshine, Venison Burgers and Homemade Chicken Strips.
Round #1
My local hang where buffalo wings + beer = heaven
Owners Alistair & Rose are the epitome of what country hospitality represents.
Always smiling, always welcoming and always working hahaha, these two are relentless and much loved by all who know them.
To that add a Chef who's love for good food rivals his love for motorcycles (well almost).
His changing menu revolves around damn tasty and honest fair that caters to all, even those who require gluten free options.
Pastrami on Rye was ah-mazing &
Chicken wings are to die for! Definitely worth the visit
Haven't tried the food yet. Still giving 5as service and ambience was fab. Nice beers, boutique. About $9 a pint. Lovely beer garden with sweet smelling Magnolias surrounding you. We will be back when kitchen is open️?
The Bierhaus is outstanding. Great service and wonderful food. My husband loves the beer. Our favourite place in the Adelaide Hills.
Bad service great food! The service was below average took our order incorrectly we were down one order then they took soo long to get the last meal out.initially an hour wait then another 40 minutes later when they said they had other people to serve before us…. Really that’s terrible customer service! You stuffed up not us and then we get treated like that disgraceful! Still charge us for the meal! The meals where cold when they arrived! They ran out food very limited options! Food was great don’t think we will be returning! It could of been great
Just had the best takeaway from the Bierhaus. Ordered chicken wings, pastrami bowl and the atlantic salmon. All the meals were hot fresh and absolutely delicious.
Very impressed. A wide enough variety of beers and ales to suit all palates. Convivial atmosphere, warm in winter, sunny outside in the beer garden. The stout rivals any I have tasted all over the world (no, I have not drunk Guinness in Ireland from the tap. It's on my bucket list)
Excellent place for food, wine and there own beer,
Lots of interesting things to see and through the clear windows you can see the brewery in action.
All the staff are very efficient friendly and helpful.
In the warmer months they have music in the garden area.
It's recommended you book a table as it is an extremely popular place. You can also eat in the garden area.
Recommend you put on your bucket list.
This is such a great place to eat lunch or dinner with friends! The atmosphere inside is delightful, especially during colder weather as the Bierhaus has a *real* fireplace with cosy sofas nearby! I’ve been here many times with my husband and friends and none of us have ever been disappointed with our food or drinks.
The staff are always friendly, both in person and on the phone, which also sets a welcoming and pleasant tone in the whole place.
Yeah, it’s not a cheap venue to eat but I always come away honestly feeling like I’ve enjoyed my experience and definitely received quality food for what I paid. I can’t recommend the Lobethal Bierhaus enough!
Whenever I want to take friends or family out to a special eat, and we don’t mind travelling, this awesome place always springs to mind!
Such a let down of a place. Really poor service and mediocre food. How has this place got such good reviews?
Is a great place to relax and enjoy good food, beer & wine.
This boutique brewery has an excellent range of in house made beers.
You go inside or in the excellent beer garden which is mainly a beautiful grassed area and most times has live music in the beer garden area, thank you Mia and other helpful friendly staff for making our day out a very pleasant outing
