Lovely interior and vibe.
Food is great but not if you can't handle a bit of spice!

Great for small groups, probably could have used a little more table space for all the food we ordered

My husband and I went here on Saturday the 13th of January. We have both been here before and had high expectations. Food tasted ok service was good but we both got horrible food poisoning. Being pregnant, this is extremely dangerous for myself and can have long standing effects, needed to seek medical attention. Terrible experience

Didn't have a booking for my besties 50th birthday as was a last minute decision on where to go (only 3 of us). The choices were wide and the food >>> OMG! So fresh and tasty. Salt & Pepper Squid entree (Drawl!) Crispy Barramundi (Drawl!) TOO many choices. Did anything that had chilli in it (as we all love chilli) and was superb! Prices a quite high ($19 entre and $38 for a main). BUT so worth it!
Best was that it is NOT on Gouger street with all the others, easier to find a park and not over crowded. Definitely will be back!

Staff food ambience cocktails bar staff can’t compromise price for quality. Order your fireball sour with hint of cinnamon

This time very dissapointed barramundi was like hard rubber and prawns had a unusual smell.
Rice was gluey atmosphere was.were closing soon hint hint.
Plus still expensive. Sorry but won't be back for a long while.

A fantastic example of modern thai food. The staff were exceptional and very friendly. We opted for the "feed me" menu and were not disappointed. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Wonderful! Would recommend highly

A waste of money. Very expensive, unbalanced pad Thai, not seasoned, $25 cocktails that taste like water. Never come back.
Wait staff extremely entitled and rude.

Amazing food! Loved everything we ordered! Right amount of spice! The service was quick and the servers were lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the time we spent there. Would definitely visit again!

Following a local competition, I visited this restaurant with about 12 other people, and we were advised to have the set meal, which we would be able to share.
The host picked a selection of dishes, and they kept coming until we were full.
I particularly enjoyed then spicy chicken chicken wings, as I was hoping for lots of spice. Unfortunately, the dishes that were picked did not have much of a kick, but were tasty bo the less and enjoyable.

My favourite hidden gem for Thai cuisine! They serve the BEST pina coladas and the portions are big! Highly recommend Lantern by Nu for any occasions:)

I picked the wrong meal for me, but the 2 others at our table thought their good was excellent.

Had a great dinner here and flying straight in with a 5 star. Service is good. Atmosphere is great and I was really surprised by how authentic the mains were.

Thi green curry was incredible and it was like I was in Thailand. Beef cheek was extremely good and dumplings were amazing.

For the price and total package this was bang on and I would find it very unlikely that you would get a negative experience going here.

This is the first time I’ve been here in about 2 years and I noticed an improvement on the food for sure. It was refreshing to have a taste of Thailand after being there only a few months ago. Normally dishes like a green curry are underwhelming, but not here.

Anywhere around the gouger st area, this is a very good option if you we’re after modern Thai food. I will go back for sure

I loved the Thai Green Curry here. Only wish service was a bit better because we were sitting in an area that was a bit out of the way and felt a bit forgotten as our order didn't get taken until we went up to the till and asked for someone to help us.

Birthday Dinner ruined

Initially I had called up the restaurant to inform them it was one of my best friends birthdays, and that we would be celebrating on that night. The lady on the phone had reassured me that they would bring out a candle alongside the dessert and will put it in the notes of the booking.

Once seated I discreetly gave the waitress the birthday candle behind the menu, the waitress was very slow and made it very obvious and clear and said “OH WHATS THIS? ” and picked it up and waved it around the air - now spoiling the surprise for my friend. Once all the main food were finished, the dessert came out WITHOUT a candle - now my friend was anticipating a candle and song since she saw the candle, all very awkward and disappointing.

This is very disappointing on behalf of the restaurant and communication with staff as I paid well over $200 for the dinner and would expect for the restaurant to follow through with the given notes and instructions of a birthday celebration.

This place was lovely and the owner was so kind, I wouldn’t recommend this place for a birthday celebration as they don’t pay attention to details & the food was very pricey.

Strange dining experience here. Greeted nicely on entrance but overall staff seemed disorganised/inexperienced. We were a largish group and the waiter needed to go around twice for order details as somehow hadn't recorded them initially!? When dishes came out, again staff had no idea who each dish went to.
Portions were actually too large and could easily feed two, so why not reduce portion size and make the single serve more reasonably priced or have staff suggest sharing dishes but difficult in the context re bill splitting etc. A common remark in our group.
I had the barramundi. Tasty enough but essentially battered fish, kind of dry and very little accompanying vegetables. So $38 for a plate of fried fish hmmmm.
I did get it takeaway as I hate waste but really the whole experience just felt poorly thought out.
Lastly, it was a hot night and the air conditioning if working had little effect so everyone was feeling physically uncomfortable.
For the price tag I expect more. Won't be back.

The best Thai restaurant in town. Food is delicious and cocktails are great. Service is so good.
Definitely my favourite Thai restaurant in Adelaide.

Food was decent, but we were fooled into paying 8 dollars for a bottle of "still" water. The kind of restaurant that has a branded bottle of water called "Capi Still" so they can charge for it when you choose still over sparkling is not a restaurant I want to support. We were not told that still water had a charge, and we have never been to a restaurant anywhere else in Australia where "still" does not mean tap water that is free of charge.

I went here tonight and ordered the pad Thai & green curry. It was so salty it wasn’t eatable. I politely informed the staff and nothing was done. I still paid the full price even though we didn’t eat it the food also came out very very fast…. Within 5 min

The cocktails & kingfish were great and the and the general vibe of the restaurant is good and fun.

I would go somewhere cheaper in future and like s2 Thai.for better quality food.
