Lake Albert Caravan Park, Meningie SA

Fantastic experience. Staff were friendly and accommodating, got well looked after. View was spectacular. Highly recommend

Owner too lazy to come to the door when I arrived a bit late and refused entry. I only wanted a tent site I didn’t feel too welcome in that town

This caravan park was a hidden gem for us having driven through Meningie many times over the years and never really stopped. We had a magnificent van site less than 20m from the water, grass all the way down to the lake. Fishing at your back door. Plenty of sites close to the water. Friendly people to talk to. There are a number of good dining options nearby. An easy 5 minute walk into town. We used it as a base to visit many sites in the fabulous Coorong. I can highly recommend the experience.

Management totally ruined our stay, we booked with our daughters family so that we could all be together since Covid has prevented a holiday for over a year. Was assured by management the cabins were side by side, on arrival we were at opposite ends of the park. Lame excuses offered by management, no real apology or any care exhibited by the same manager. Wont be back!

Had a great time like normal, wind was a bit annoying this year, but at least it didn't rain. See you again next year.

Great park, great location, shame about the management. Only came because we were assured specific cabin next to family, got bumped because his CFS mates (using CFS car for a holiday) wanted it instead. Then blamed COVID!

Absolutely beautiful! On the lake front, perfect location for a stroll into town, swim in the lake or drive around the Coorong:)

Enjoyed a 2 night stay here in our van in mid Feb 2020. The lake front sites are tops with grassy reserve behind. Only short flat walk to town. Puppy friendly. Very quiet. Enjoyed our stay.

Absolutley beautiful here. Facilties were tip top and staff were awesome. We planeed on only one night but stayed three.

Troy and Jacqui are great. Sites are a decent size. Amenities are lovely and clean. Walking distance to Coorong Brewing Co. Big thumbs up.

Jacqui and Troy have been the absolute best. We had someone write off our motorhome and they have helped us at every turn to get back on the road again. The town on a whole has been amazing. The caravan park s a must stay, especially during any public holiday. Have made friends for life at this fantastic park. 10/10 would crash again!

We had a two bedroom cabin and found it to be very clean and comfortable. There were two very comfortable two seater chairs in the lounge. The main bedroom was a little small but overall we were very happy with our accommodation.
Caravan Park is kept very neat and clean. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Location is perfect if you want to get away from it all. Thank you

Stayed here for the second time & loved it even more. Gorgeous camp sites right on the lake. Friendly staff. This is a beautiful park. I love all the cute garden ornaments. Such a relaxed park. We will be back.

Well maintained pretty park by edge of Lake Albert. Clean amenities, roomy sites. Short walk to town and delicious Coorong mullet meal at the hotel.

For cyclists mega.great place, great view of the lake, everything was very clean, kitchen with everything you need, good drinking water. Sanitary good, here is constantly tidied up and cleaned. I hung directly on a night.supermarket nearby. Tent set up next to a bank u by the lake.quiet at night.really good, no power 15 AUD.for 6 stars.für cyclisten mega.toller ort, toller ausblick auf den see, alles sehr sauber, küche mit allem was man braucht, gutes Trinkwasser.sanitär gut, hier wird ständig aufgeräumt und sauber gemacht.habe direkt eine nacht dran gehängt.supermarkt in der nähe.zelt direkt neben einer bank u am see aufgebaut.nachts ruhig.richtig gut, no power 15 AUD.dafür 6 Sterne.

Great caravan park. Friendly owner and good rates. The park has a very chilled relaxed atmosphere about it. Location is perfect. Amenities are old but very clean and well maintained. Certainly worth a stay.

Very nice park on the shore of Lake Albert. Lots of pelicans & other birds. Picturesque backdrop for the caravan.
