Lake Albert Caravan Park, Meningie SA reviews
59Had a great time like normal, wind was a bit annoying this year, but at least it didn't rain. See you again next year.
A wonderful little spot right on lake Albert. The grass lots are lovely and green. A perfect spot for bird watchers. Facilities were very clean.
Beautiful location, lots of bird life.
Spotless facilities, helpful staff. Will definitely be back.
Self check in and no service throughout. Beautiful lake and great location, amenities clean and right next to a cute lil cafe
We didn't pre book a site but it was easy enough to do everything necessary on the screen at the office. The facilities were spotless and the park well maintained.
The location is wonderful. Right on the lake, dog park across the road and the most beautiful café right next door.
Excellent location right on the shores of Lake Albert. Park is quiet and very well maintained.
When we arrived no one was in reception but we checked in using a touch screen which was available.
I would recommend checking in online first if you have planned this as your destination.
Highly recommend.
Lovely setting on Lake Albert. Grassed sites, very clean facilities. Quiet. May not have all the bells & whistles for a family with young children, although there is a good sized playground, for those travelling as couples it's a relaxing holiday location.
Nothing to say on the negative here.
Booked online approx 7 weeks ahead rang park spoke to very helpful lady who told us how to use comment section to book sites, when got there sites were not what was requested male manager basically shrugged it off that's how it's done, why have comment section and don't action request when booked so far in advance.
Been coming here on and for many years.
Just keeps getting better every stay.
Our maiden voyage in our new van.
This caravan park is very clean and tidy. The amenities are super clean and code entry. The camp kitchen is good. The caravan sites are good.
Spotless amenities! Amazing grass that didn't require shoes. We had the petfect no wind night on the lake. Thanks great little park!
We thought that we would just stay 1 night as we head to Adelaide but we were so impressed with the lake location and the bird life, the facilities and the cleanliness we decided to stay another 2 nights. Would definitely come again.
Super clean amenities with well cut lawns and great powered sites. Well located to the township and the lake, you could not ask for a better place to relax at. Water front sites to the lake are great.
We just spent 2 nights at this lovely Caravan Park. Right on the water, quiet, clean and pretty. Plenty of birdlife. Good restaurant/bar right next door. Only minor negatives - showers were a bit cramped and the fish dont know how to bite. I would recommend staying there. Thanks Meningie.
A lovely spot, and the caravan park was quite good. Meals at the Bowling Club were fantastic. Really enjoyed Meningie.
We loved this extremely well run and very beautiful caravan park right on Lake Albert. The birdlife was lovely, the sites were awesome with plenty of space, grassy and right on the lake front.
Can't wait 'til we can go back and stay longer!
Nice park. Good facilities. Only negative was no-one in reception. Nothing better than a happy face
What's not to love? The lake-front powered sites deliver spectacular sunsets & rises, the amenities are clean & tidy, staff friendly and dogs (leashed) are welcome.
We stayed at this delightful park for only one night. It was absolutely gorgeous. So clean and neat with quirky signs and messages around.
Beautiful location, right on Lake Albert and we watched the magnificent sunsets.
We wished we could have stayed longer but unfortunately we had a booking in Victor Harbour.
We be back as we really loved it.

Really great park. The facilities were clean and homely. We changed from unpowered to powered for better views and the owner was more than happy to do so. The lake view was beautiful, lots of bird life. Was a bit difficult booking our stay due to no one answering the phones or being at reception.
