LaCucina Caffe

Whilst the food is lovely I have to say the service was disappointing. I ordered a Cucina pasta which according to the menu on their website is vegetarian. I have also previously ordered this dish and thoroughly enjoyed it. However today whilst I was eating my pasta on my lunch break, I noticed it had salami in it. When I called to see whether I had been given the wrong order by mistake, the staff member told me no and I was offered a replacement however as I had already used my 30min lunch break to pick it up I was unable to. I was offered nothing else. I called a second time when another staff member informed me that they have a new take away menu which states that the Cucina pasta now contains meat, however this was only updated on Facebook and Instagram not on their website. It may not be a big deal to some but as a vegetarian this was extremely disappointing especially seeing that I only realised after I had already started eating it. I was not offered an apology or a replacement. It seemed that it was suggested it was my fault for not checking Facebook - certainly it's unreasonable to expect customers to check three different platforms. I suggested they update their website and the staff member said they would inform their boss. I wasn't offered an apology, a replacement meal or a refund. At the end of the day it's not about money, merely that their was wa miscommunicationhich resulted in me consuming something I did not want to consume for various reasons. Based on how this incident was handled I won't be going back.

Slow service, very cold coffee wanted extra money for butter, just ridiculous, prices also high plenty of other places to choose from don't make the effort to go you will be disappointed.

Somewhat disappointing. Service was very slow, and disjointed, with lunch dishes arriving at random. The food was generally good, though nothing outstanding. Nice atmosphere on the terrace, and obviously a popular place. Maybe it just wasn't at its best on the day.

Nothing wrong with the food, BUT if you have sound sensitivity do not come here on peak times. There are no sound absorbing mechanisms; the noise was more than 90dB as measured on an iPhone - deafening!
Maybe something management could address?
Then we’ll be back!

Customer service was excellent, head chef was fantastic - ensuring our meals were to our satisfaction. Delicious pizza too!

Very Very poor service we asked fur extra balsamic vinegar and they wanted us to pay for it the schnitzel was dry and chips to salty

Staff very friendly Coffee excellent Cake selection fantastic AND delicious Thank you Just the place to visit after a "hard afternoon shopping"

Good Food, good service, great atmosphere, indoor and outdoor dining. The Snitty was huge, flavour some pasta and pizza’s are lovely. Only issue was the coffee - much too strong and a little too bitter!

Very friendly with excellent service good value. The owner always thanks you for coming could not complain also cater for gluten free.

The food is delicious. However, I didn’t eat my bread and felt disappointed because when someone in the kitchen dropped the bread onto the ground, the chef just picked it up and used it to make the caprese we ordered. I saw it because We were at table9, which is the closest table to the kitchen.

For a external shopping centre restaurant - These people are so friendly. Lovely food. Good range of wine. Beautiful coffee. We will be back.

I had breakfast with a friend on Saturday morning. It was fantastic, especially the halloumi. Great service, great vibe. Liz x

Beautiful food! Highly recommend the Pollo Prosciutto and the Chicken Salad. Great food and great service. Definitely be back again soon.

One of my favourite restaurants of all time! Despite being a little pricey the food is too good to miss! I always receive great service here and would recommend it to anyone who fancies quality Italian cuisine! P.s, try the gnocchi because it is AMAZING!

Disappointed with the crab fettuccine which looked like mush.
My husband after his meal came home & had more to eat.
I know that the rent must be high but the meals don't justify the prices been charged.

Incredible care to detail is put into the food, generous prices for authentic food in comparison to other restaurants. Tasteful coffee to accompany a delicately prepared experience, I return gladly each time
