LaCucina Caffe

Was very disappointed. Ordered 2 chicken focaccias and 1 of them came out with half a roll with the other half soaked in margarine. I wish I took a photo to share this. I then asked for my money back and they said they don't do refunds. I said don't make me another one I do not want it and walked away. Will never come back.

Great place to dine in. One of the staff was excellence with her service and hospitality. There was a problem with one of our orders but she managed to make us all looked after.

Owner is aggressive because he doesn’t cook his bacon well, may have to check out the health commission!

Oh my god one of the worse meals. The lamb kebabs looked as if they had been steamed to recover some value for a meal. The complaint brought a chef out to challenge the questioner. The salad looked as if it had wilted in the packet and someone said, oh it will make it through one more day.table

Ordered bacon and eggs. Politely sent it back as it was raw only cooked on one side. Owner storms out and says this is how he cooks it and if I don't like it leave. But didn't get an option as he threw $10 at me and told me to go. I am gobsmacked not knowing how to respond to this. I told him he is incredibly rude. Asked another customer how was her bacon, she too couldn't eat it. Owner tells me to stop talking to other patrons and tells me to get out or he will call security! The other customer said it was her first time dining there and it will be the last of how he is treating me. I said what for? Trying to get a service of a meal? As I left I let other patrons know not to order the bacon as its raw. Wow with the way the world is, CUSTOMER SERVICE should be on top of any small business agenda of how to get return business to stay alive. Sadly this small tiny business is yet to understand bad news travels fast. Especially with Social Media. One can make an assumption if this owner treats everyone this way this so called business will be CLOSED anytime soon.

Good service, food and drinks. Went there for breakfast. Good breakfast menu providing a multitude of egg based choices. Other options include croissants (not very Italian!), toast, yoghurt and fruit bowls. Extensive range of coffee options plus tea, juices, smoothies and shakes. Wood oven pizza later in the day.

Yesterday, I visited this place. The atmosphere is great, good customer service, food looks nice and tasty however very very oily, I haven't recovered from the that oily food yet. I might not visit again

Lovely staff. My friend enjoyed her frittata. I had the fish and chips. The mushiest most tasteless fish I have eaten

La Cucina do breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Lunch and dinner are the favourite due to the many pizza and pasta options but the breakfast is tasty, not complex but well priced. I love the crab pasta, one of the best in Adelaide.

They have an extensive wine list and they do a good coffee. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Really outstanding coffee, brekkie, and service! These guys are so onto it, our meals came quickly and the staff checked in with us to see if we needed anything/to see how our meals were. Great special as well with the $10 bacon and eggs on toast deal before 12PM, and the signature Nutella latte was lovely! Will defs be back again!

I have ordered 1 Lasagna but the staff accidentally put in 2 and when I realised and want to get a refund they will not let me. Forced me to take one serve home in a takeaway container.
Sigh.

Nice, enjoyed lunch at LaCucina and as it's on the outside of the shopping complex it's a nice place to escape the busy crowd's

Extensive menu, good quality ingredients, generous portions, solid technical execution, and a head chef who comes out and ask every table if the food were to their satisfaction.a definite 5-star establishment.

I attended LaCucina last week and ordered the bruschetta- both pieces of bread were mouldy. When I returned the meal the service I received was poor. Not one apology, no drinks Were offered- I had to ask for a refund. Will not be returning here that’s for sure.

Not great, not terrible. We had the bacon and eggs, which tasted a bit watery, but the toast was good. The crepe with berries was far too sweet and something artificial about the syrup, while the Nutella latte seemed like an afterthought: a spoon of Nutella dropped into a latte and stuck to the bottom. They could have incorporated it into the milk better. The coffee itself was acceptable. The wait staff were generally attentive, but I was almost scolded for folding the menu back to open to the page I was looking at. Maybe they should choose better materials if worried about longevity.

The Pumpkin Soup was Brilliant! Never tasted anything like it before, considering I’ve travelled around the World. I highly recommend trying it! Will be back to taste their other dishes soon

Today I visited La Cucina for coffee & cake with a friend. Whilst at the counter to order, the Head Chef was observed berating 2 female staff members about supposedly slow service. When the coffee was delivered to our table, it was mentioned to the female staff member by the customer about the inappropriate way she & her colleague were spoken to. It's apparent that this conversation was repeated to the Head Chef. He immediately approached our table, leaning over us in an intimidating matter & speaking very aggressively to the female customers, trying to justify his behavior towards his staff.
There is no excuse to treat either staff or customers in this manner.
We will never return, nor will any of our friends or family. Appalling attitude.

Hadn't been for a long time but noticed the street board advertising $10 bacon and eggs breakfast. The dish had a generous serve of well-grilled bacon, 2 poached eggs and 2 slices of white toast - tasty but could have been dressed with, say, some rocket with a drizzle of EVOO. Good value for money, The real disappointment was the cappuccino - I scored my first 3/10 and the second by a different barista 3/10. Just noticed the photo associated with my review - this was a great cap I enjoyed in October 2018 - no idea why it's here, other than aspirational for the caffe owners/staff

Hardly any food came out on my plate, some of the staff were incredibly rude.would not go here again

Today I went to LaCucina Cafe with a friend- it was a very unpleasant experience - I saw the head chef speak to two of his female staff in an intimidating manner- all over minutes taken for a coffee to be served previously. It was obvious they felt intimidated. He did this in front of a customer - I felt very sorry for these two girls -later I told one of them I did not like the manner or way she was spoken to - this must have been relade to him. He approached us- learning over the table with his face very close to mine. He was angry, rude, aggressive justifying his behaviour with staff having to learn hospitality. What a poor example of teaching staff with this unacceptable behaviour. I felt threatened and I did not appreciate being spoken to in this tone - he was a bully. I was frightened of him- I just wanted him to leave me alone and go away. You don't speak or treat people like this. I wish I had left this cafe -when I first heard this angry man talk to his staff -in this unacceptable way and I didn't have to put up with him approaching us the way he did. He is very intimidating and all he cared about was justifying himself and not at all seeing any of this from a customers point of view. No respect. His staff don't look happy no wonder- we won't be back again. I wonder if anyone else has observerd this or been treated this way.
