Kurralta Park Surgery

Saw Dr Mohamed Patel. He is the most insensitive, rude, disgusting and unprofessional healthcare practitioners I have ever seen. Loud mouth and condescending. I came out of the appointment crying as I was shocked how can someone talk filth and has no duty of care. A fair bit (40mins) wait despite a prior appt.never again. It was a bad day

Went in for a Referral to see a Pshych. Got told by Dr. P that I don't have any mental illness' and I'm a "Leech of society" and just need to "learn to work".

Thank you, I can't leave the house due to pre-diagnosed anxiety and you haven't helped in the slightest.

I do not recommend.
The staff doesn't know/tell when the cooperative lab is open and that it had moved, which made me walk (not long distance) to the wrong spot and on another time when it had already closed. During the first visit I had to wait for at least 30 minutes for the GP over my appointment time and on the second time 50 minutes (the reception did warn me about the doctor always showing up late.). The first GP was kind and did his job. Dr. Patel (the second one) was rude and arrogant and nearly made me cry. All I wanted in the end was my test results so that I can show them to another doctor and get actual help and he said that it's a waste of his time and ink printing stuff for me (he eventually sent them to me via email), even though I had wasted an hour waiting for him to show up and then get no advise on my condition.

I highly recommend this place.very friendly staff there and very supportive.
I referred Dr. ANANTH, such a humble and professional doctor. He is absolutely a good doctor from every means. Public need that kind of doctor. Very down earth character and empathetic.

Horrible place, poor service, rude, rough and useless receptionists.
I waited for more that an hour and they sent other patients in.
They were so behind with the appointments.and surprisingly the doctor was even worse.
Such a waste of time.
Don't recommend this place at all.

Dr. Ananth Tharmalingam, been the best G. P, I have been to in Adelaide. I was assessed by him, he found my health issues. I had been to 15 others who were utter nonsense. Dr. Ananth Tharmalingam, is not a G. P who is after money or fame. He is down to earth, polite, intellectual, understanding, all ears to hear and also will suggest best ways to get you cured. I hope Adelaide would have more doctor's like him. Let almighty God bless him abundantly. He changed my life. I was nearly bedridden, now I can literally run. Back to my own feet. Thank you kindly for your generosity Dr. Ananth Tharmalingam. Keep up the good personality and work. Hats off to you.

Do not see Dr. Patel for questions relating to mental health (or psychology in general) he is very condescending and I would recommend seeing a different doctor instead. I saw him based on the other reviews and was left feeling worse leaving my appointment than when I entered.

Dr Patel is the best GP I have ever seen, extremely empathetic and listens to all your concerns.
The reception staff have always been lovely to me.

However, the wait times are absolutely atricious, you literally need to set aside 2 hours of your day to make an appointment here.
Every single time I have ever come in I've waited for over an 1-1/2 hours easy.

A good bunch of doctors you can find here. General practitioner, dentist, physiotherapist and podiatry are available. Has plenty of car park. It's located just opposite of kuraltapark shopping mall and front of Anzac highway. It's better if you make an appointment prior to come in. They do bulk billing.

The best clinic I have ever been to, amazing staff and Adelaide's best GP, Dr Patel. Im lucky to have found this place and recommend it to everyone. I appreciate them and thank them for everything they have done for me.

Dr. Patel is really helpful and nice. Nurses on the other hand totally rude. Wouldn't recommend them at all.

Excellent, caring doctor.yes, the wait times can be long, but that's because the docs actually listen and care about their patients.wait times are just as long elsewhere!

Its a pathetic place. Dr. Patel is simply money minded, he talks extremely rudely. Even some of the staff is also the same. Highly long waiting hours. Still the staff and Dr. Patel never feel apologetic to patients.

Dr Mahboob is professional, empathetic and quite educated on all facets of health As a General Practitioner. As well as the other GP doctors on duty. The Administration are polite, understanding of patients issues. Feel like I'm in a hospital without the wait times. My First point of visit for my family health care issues. This surgery is the worst! It is just outrageously inefficient. Even with an appointment I always wait more than an hour. I simply can't go back again it's just too infuriating

Doctor Patel is absolutely wonderful doctor, He is a doctor who can listen & understand, I do not know any doctor more deserving thank you than
Dr Patel, He is looking after my mother Klavdiia's health issues for many years. He is very knowledgeable and professional. All doctors and nurses in this surgery deserving big thank you for care they providing to patients

Julie at reception is rude and unprofessional. If i could give 0 stars for her attitude without affecting the rating of the surgery i would.

About half the time, there is a wait past 20 minutes appointment time, but the rest of the time I'm normally in soon after app time.

I have been going to the Kurrulta Park surgery for many years, including when it was on South Road. Overall, my experience with the surgery in those days was good, waiting times were short or reasonable and I was very pleased with my doctor.
However, today’s experience at the surgery was the last straw for me. I will not go there again and have arranged to have my medical records transferred to a new doctor and new surgery. I waited 50 minutes past my appointment time to see my doctor and this was unacceptable, especially given that I saw at least 3 doctors on duty, I was one of only 5 patients in the waiting room and I was only there to pick up test results. The worst part was that I was not offered an apology when I finally had my consultation. This is not the first time I have had to wait an unacceptably long period in recent times in this surgery. My friend has never waited more than 15 minutes - which I consider reasonable - at her surgery and at that time the waiting room was full. As a result of today’s unacceptable delay I was late for another important commitment that I otherwise would not have missed. It is time for Kurrulta Park Surgery to get its act together, space appointments better and realise that its patients’ time is just as important as that of its staff! Not good enough.
