I have been attending for years and have loved the care that Dr Ananth provided for my family. I have made the decision to change practices due to the rude receptionist who snapped at my 16 month old baby to stop playing with the door. We had been waiting for 40 mins and I was struggling to keep my two young children entertained while we waited. Some empathy from staff would have been nice but instead one particular receptionist, with grey hair was incredibly rude and made me feel horrible for letting my daughter play with the door which seemed to stop her from crying in the very busy wait room. I was supervising my child, there were no people coming or going at that point so there was no harm in touching the handles. I won’t be going back because I didn’t like the manner in which she spoke to my child. In the time, I was there in the waiting room, I also saw her make an older man feel uncomfortable as he was trying to discreetly pass her a urine sample. She loudly told him to wait because she was on the phone and treated him unkindly as well. In the past there have been other times where she has been rude to my family, lacking empathy for my wait time with two very young children. There have been numerous occasions where I have witnessed her treating patients unkindly. I would have liked to give feedback to the practice but unfortunately they do not have an email address on their website so public review is the only option and unfortunately I won’t be attending there again.

Do not even bother calling the surgery because they will put you on hold for 20 mins and then disconnect the line.

Went to see Dr Patel
Regret it straight away.
Talked down to me, was not listening to me properly at all. Was all about 'money'
Basically called me stupid for asking about bulk billing services around getting scans done.
Worst doctor I've seen. Waste of money and time seeing him

I'm a new patient of Kurralta Park Surgery just found the surgery in searching for booking Covid vac's And Thanks' Jah found Doctor Sampath Perera by his patience and a Good practice of Applying the duty of Care of a Doctor to his patient, the 90% suspicious malignancy features of papillary Thyroid cancer found earlier. And because of his sincere care urgently referred me to the right channel of Specialist that have the same sentiment in performing the Real Act of Good Practice in Applying the Duty of Care to their patient. Its Good feeling to know that when not feeling good you could make an appointment to see a Doctor's that do really care. May Jah will always protect the doctors like them so that they could give real relief to patient that needed them in due time.

The reception was fantastic and very helpful, as l am hearing impaired. However the same could not be said of the lady that did the inoculation; certainly did not have the qualities for someone that should be working in the health domain

I have been consulting Dr Sampath Perera for more than 4 years in Whyalla and I recently moved to Adelaide in December 2021 thereby registered with Dr Sam at Kuralta Park Surgery. Dr Sam has provided me with acute diagnosis of my medical issues (which other doctors in past have been unable to identify the medical condition) and provided treatment to cure the illness. Where are required, he has escalated the medical issues to specialist who have been able to provide the support. The reception staff need to be more polite. Thanks

Call surgery, immediately put on hold for over 20 minutes, twice. There is no excuse for this. I still can't get through over the phone.

I booked myself with Dr. Sam Perera.
Always happy, smiles, humble.
Down to earth personality.
Always makes me feel like I am in good care.
Highly recommended.

The customer service lady named Ju*** is very rude, rolling eyes on, racist, and not helpful at all. Really disappointing that such a lady at the front desk behaving rudely to clients, which is not acceptable at all.

The Doctors here are good, but what a shame I won't be going back because the reception staff are so uneducated, awful and rude. They have no people skills.

Forget the 1 star reviews! Dr Patel and the reception staff are fantastic wait times are hard to take agreed, however the previous Dr I was seeing was no different! I think people are forgetting that Dr’s are in high demand and need to be respectful and patient it’s not all about them! I’ve personally found Dr Patel very caring and respectful, he always checked my weight and blood pressure upon my visits and is on the ball with any tests I may need to look at age related.

After years of attending this practice, mum and I changed due to our doctor moving to another practice. Several of the receptionists there were rude. I wasn't standing in the right spot one day and got chastised. Another time I was waiting for an appointment. After 20 minutes I asked someone if the psychologist was even there (I thought maybe I got the wrong days), and was told quite rudely to take a seat. The usual wait time was at least 1/2 hour to 1 hour to see a doctor. They tended to overbook the doctors. We used to be able to ring up for results. When the practice management changed, we had to book an appointment, although I think this might have changed for most practices. The fact that there is a huge turnover rate of reception staff and nurses there must indicate there is something fundamentally wrong with the work culture there.
The only doctor worth seeing there is Dr Tharmalingam. He was very understanding of some personal difficulties I was having and helped diagnose a back problem.
We now go to Pro Health Care Kidman Park where the staff are not only much more friendly and cooperative, but more efficient too.

I don't have any one to blame but myself for this, I read the reviews but still went. I walked out after waiting 40 minutes as I had other appointments. Its not the same clinic that it was before it sold to the new owners

The receptionist lady I visited was rude and had attitude with the way she speaks to clients. Never experienced it at other gp places.waited 17 minutes past my appointment time making me late for other appointments. Yet no apology for the wait. Won’t be going back there and will be changing gp.

I had my appointment with Dr. Patel for blood tests review. Dr. Patel told me everything is all right. There was no need to get blood tests done. But I actually had some abnormalities in my blood tests when reviewed by another doctor. Dr. Patel makes comments on girl’s lifestyles and told me there is something wrong with my mental health and I need to work on my mental health rather than seeing doctors. Gives no solution for the problem and blames yourself for your health condition. Will never go back to him. Such a pathetic doctor.

A horrible service. The reception staff is horrible, very unprofessional including the so-called 'manager'. Patients who even came after us was also seen by the dr, when I inquired the receptionist the reason why, that women ignored us for 2 times, and did not send us through and kept us waiting for so long that we had to argue to get our turn to see the dr. Wasted our time to get my 6 weeks old baby's immunisation. Horrible service.

Tried to book an appointment regarding a bad cold online (already had a negative COVID test result for symptoms). Had to call clinic direct to try to make appt. They would not allow a face to face booking due to ‘clinic policy’ so booked a telephone consult. Still waiting right now, over 2 hours after my appt time. Called them and they said that they had delays and that people who attend clinic would be triaged first. I’ve been sick for two weeks and I’ve waited 3 days for the only appointment I was allowed to make because apparently the clinic cannot allow this sick person a face to face appointment. Absolute joke. Last time I will use this GP clinic. No wonder Emergency Depts are inundated.

Don't believe the one star reviews. Be patient and nice to staff, you'll have a good experience.
