Been directed to a table by front staff, but no one come to ask if customer need to order anything else beside plates on the train! I waited and looked around to caught staff attention for 15 minutes but no one come! I wanted to order drinks and some special dishes, but no chance! Staff seem to be very disrespectful and uninterested forward customers! They were taking at a side and didn’t pay attention to customer!

The floor was also dirty, full of used napkin! The soy sauce plates are also infected with dirt!

To conclude, this is the worst sushi place I ever experienced in Adelaide. I am a sushi lover and been to many places but never had bad experiences like this one!

Above average food, good service, one of the best sushi I've had in Adelaide. Sometimes the shop was a bit crowded, but overall, I didn't have to wait too long.

Very good sushi.but they don't value about customer. They close at 9: 15 but didn't let in for dine in at 8: 20 saying they are closing soon. This happened once before. Never coming back.

A few of the male staff that work here are very lazy and actually quite rude. I was disgusted with the service at this place. On top of this, when I ate my wagyu sushi it tasted almost off.got my friend to confirm that it wasn't just bias from me being put off by the service. 1 star. Won't be going back and will actually tell friends to stay away. Better sushi experience available elsewhere.

Quite good, fresh sushi and attentive staff. So popular at peak time, we have to wait a bit. If u looking for a quick bite, kintaro is good choice

Not a good experience…

Great sushi and great customer service. Friendly staff and they always greet you with a smile. If you are regular customer, they even remember your favourite items.

Went today for lunch today.
Staff preparing food were cross contaminating food.
They wore gloves whilst picking chicken, tuna, avocado out of containers and using equipment but didn't ever change gloves at any stage.
We did request to speak with the manager but no manager there.
We didn't continue eating and left.

Ordered platter ahead of time. We came after the agreed time and they hadn't even started. They had completely forgotten about the order. Very unprofessional. Had to wait for 15 minutes when we were already running late. Other than that the sushi is pretty good and they did offer us a couple of free plates to make up for it. Still disappointed about the overall experience.

Honestly one of the worst service sushi trains I have experienced. Coming here at least once a week, I question why I come back. Service is shocking while workers in groups of 2 and 3 just chatting having a laugh. If looking for a quick bite, highly don’t recommend.

The food was good, but nothing special. Ordered a dish that may not be ordered often - received something old and floury in taste. Service was very good. Would go back, but unfortunately the sushi was quite average.

Food is consistently fresh and delicious, however we realised after paying that we were charged for more plates than we ate so I recommend you double check the count before you pay.

On 14 Feb 2021, we were invited by our Uncle and Aunty to Kintaro Sushi Norwood for dinner. About 8 pm My uncle (95 years Old) made payment in cash. When we walked out the shop, one of their staff chased us shouted, "Did you paid? " in front of people standing outside their shop. We felt extremely embrassing. My uncle was very upset of being huminated and rushed back to the shop. The said staff checked the cash register and said "All good". He was not apologitic and thought it was right to accured of non-payment without check the certainty.this act was un-Australian.

The taste is good. However it is a bit narrow inside and the waiters sometimes are too busy to service you.

For a first time person going had no idea what I was doing and what there really was to order.no one actually helped.food was great! Would been nice if someone actually had shown me.

Not often I post a review, but I'd like Kintaro to know our experience wasn't what we'd hoped for.
Seafood pancake was awful. Could not eat. Texture sloppy, pungent seafood smell was awful.
Cold tuna sushi from train was lukewarm at best.
Hot fried dumplings were cold.
Crumbed squid didn't have elastic tendon band removed. Tasted of oil only.
Staff washing hands at sink squirted oil over my clothes.
Toilet doors and floors didnt look to have been cleaned been cleaned in months. Black hand marks on white door.
Not somewhere I'd visit again.

BBQ City has better service than this place. Fried crab claws tasted rotten. Recommended by a friend, probably she doesnt like me.

The worse service ever. Will not be back. Learn on how to run a business and also how to treat your customers. Absolutely disgusted in how we were treated.
