KFC Hillcrest

Hillcrest KFC is my local that we sporadically visit a few times in a year. Always drive through and have a specific order. Apart from the time the chicken was almost burnt, the last three times have left me wondering as to the quality control here. The chicken pieces are so small one would think too young to take away from their mothers. Customer service from the staff is also erratic. Perhaps too much money is spent on the perfectly manicured gardens and not enough on staff training and quality control. With the pricing having increased and the size of the product reduced, this is no longer a value for money option. Disappointment that leaves no option to find another franchised outlet with a consistent better product. I fear the Colonel would be shaking his head in seeing what Hillcrest are doing to his legacy.

Ordered 5 onions ring, received in 4 pieces. Always get the small piece of chicken from this branch. So disappointed

It's a KFC. Food was fine. Dining room needed a clean, numerous tables needed wiping. All ordering from screens.

Your typical KFC. Decent parking but due to the road layout, it's hard to enter the main road for south/West travel. This is not due to KFC itself, it's just what it is.

After ordering online I went to the trouble of actually ringing the branch, speaking to the manager and asked for a particular make-up of chicken pieces.
I was looking after a bunch of kids all asking for drumsticks among other things.
I was assured that they could accommodate me, the manager even checked to make sure.
What I received was dismal, never again!

Saturday night drive thru was still open with 40 minutes till close pulled up, parked and put my order in via app, took me 3mins to process.
App wouldn't let me order as the store couldn't make the food!
It was just 2 meals, tender burgers to be exact I'm sure 35 minutes was adequate time to be able to process.
2nd time in recent months where KFC have failed, why is it that you will not provide food up until your trading hours state?
If you can't you shouldn't state that your open until that time.
Customer service is lacking in this industry now days.

Staff left us waiting to be served for a good half min. We had to stop them charging and got us served.

It's not that clean
Too much staff but still they're confused for almost everything
I placed and paid for my order online, and when I arrived, it was not showing at screen at all.
So they went around and finally they could retrieve it In system, and started preparing it

Then, they don't have chicken fillet
And they had to replace with Zinger

Then they missed one chips, I had to go back to complain, and they made it for me

Finally The chicken is too oily

Horrible! Had to wait for over a half an hour. Got the food, chips were not even half full, crunch bowls were half fall, chicken wings and tenders were so so cold. Disgusting. I’ve been trying to call to complain however the phones do not ring.

Customer service was not standard. Food quality was not good as I bought before from other KFC. I ll try to avoid this outlet in future.

Went into this store to get a meal and once received the zinger box was not impressed. Chicken seemed undercooked, the chips were cold, the burger was sloppy. I was given no serviettes and had to go into their bathroom to wash my hands, the state of the bathroom was atrocious with toilet paper on the floor, no soap it was filthy. The table I sat on was sticky and messy, the floors were dirty and they certainly weren’t understaffed because there were a few staff members talking to each other while customers were waiting to order. Unimpressed.

Opened bucket of soggy and oily 21 original pieces again. Asked for fresh today after having bad experience number of times before. No consistency in cooking. You get one good serving out of 5 or 6 bad ones. Not going back to this KFC outlet ever again.

I usually purchased their wicked wings, however they always give me less than I ordered. I complained them and give me back in next order. Hence, you must double check the order before leave.

Went through drive through. Was not a very big line. It moved quickly. The server was friendly. Took my order and payment.food was served quickly and it was nice and hot. Had a boneless box. Nothing to complain about really:)

Today people wait for half an hour and get angry.some customer refunded.i order 10 wings but get 9.

. Monday night Slowest crew iv ever come across these kids are duds. "stay in school kids. ️

This is not a first time I receive these tiny pieces of chicken for 12$, I always thought may be it is by chance but this time they have gone too far. Very disappointed.

Absolutely horrible experience. Witnessed last week an apparent manager named Mel abusing junior staff. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and will be reporting along with my friends to kfc as it’s hugely unprofessional.

We placed an order at the drive through at 600pm on Sunday night. The employees at the store informed us that they were sold out of a few menu items including chicken tenders and original recipe fillets just to name a few. We requested tomato sauce and received sweet and sour sauce.

Went through the Drive Through at 7pm, was told no original chicken for 20minutes, poor organization.
Drove to Payneham, much better service.
