One of my first choices on rundle mall. Flavor as good as usual. Friend brought me there few years ago and I love the food. The portions of dishes really good and prices are reasonable.
Already recommended few friend to try it.

A very nice spot, try Japanese food apart from Sushi and of course enjoy a fine Sake at the end! Highly recommended.

Tasty option if you're looking to feel your Japanese katsu cravings. Will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

12 bucks for a tiny bowl of udon, 1/2 a shitake mushroom, 4 thin slides of fishcake, 1 bean curds. The broth was too sweet with too much mirin.

The udon noodles themselves were alright though.

Would not recommend.

Have been coming to dine here for over a year now, Katsumoto has hands down the best service and best quality Japanese food outside of Japan! The quality of both the food and service really takes me back to my time spent in Tokyo even if it's only for a hour! 10/10 would recommend for excellent customer service and unforgettable food! Thank you guys so much!

Tucked away neatly in one of Adelaide‘s popular arcades and very worthwhile the visit.providing delicious great value cuisine and excellent customer service… we have been there multiple times and will continue to do so. Highly recommended. You won’t regret it.

One thing that I miss about not working in the city is being able to get to katsumoto for lunch sometimes. Today, I was in the city and made some time, never dissapoints. A truly wonderful katsudon, with pickles and miso, reminds me of being in Japan.

Used to love the place but went there again today and got very disappointed. The food quality wasn't there, even the rice was hard. They didn't use good quality Japanese rice any more. I don't know what happened here whether they have a new owner or chef or what, but the quality was just different.

The staff were nice and friendly though. The service was prompt too.

My default Japanese food place when it comes to set meals. Their tonkotsu and toriteriyaki sets are good value for money and tastes really good.

45 mins wait for lunch that was over fried and drinks were forgotten. 1 star for the poor waiter running around like a chook.

I would have given 0 star if I was able to do it. I went there with a voucher they sold through Groupon. After reaching there, I was simply told that they won't honour the vouchers they sold through Groupon anymore. I asked them its still valid and why they won't accept it. The guy in the counter was simply getting grumpy and was saying that they don't want to honour Groupon vouchers which they sold. Really bad attitude by the management by collecting peoples money by selling bogus vouchers and not honouring it when customers reach there. If they have some problems with groupon they should solve it with them and not with the customers. Don't ever trust any deals or offers provided by this merchant.

Always a delight when dining here. I'm so glad I was introduced to this spot because we always come back for our favourite dish - tori teriyaki set, which is $12.50 for pan fried chicken in sweet teriyaki sauce with steamed rice, miso soup, salad and pickles. Great value. The skin is so perfectly crispy and the flavours are delicious. The soup, salad and pickles go so well with the chicken and rice. Service always very friendly and the food never takes too long to come out.

Friendly, great with service, really tasty food. A little difficult to find if you don't know the area, however worth the find!

Food is always great here, I have had various items from the menu. It is hard to go past the yakitori set but the teriyaki chicken is also amazing. If you are feeling like a traditional begin dish the Nadu dengaku is mind blowing

I have tried their set meals (bento lunch). Their Japanese meals are very tasty and quite filling. Generous serve of rice, meat, salad/pickles and miso soup. I had the yakitori chicken set. I'll have to come back and try some more of their dishes. They were very busy at lunchtime when I came to order a takeaway meal. Yes, they do takeaway as well as indoor/outdoor seated luncheon.

This place is an absolute gem. The spicy ramen was authentic and delicious. The tori teriyaki don was scrumptious and I didn’t think anyone could do anything any better - until I tried their tori teriyaki set! The dishes and flavours are very much in keeping with my experiences in Japan.

I enjoyed my meal, hiyashi chuka (cold noodles), even though I haven't had any cold noodles before, so it's a good thing. Will be happy to come back to try their other meals in the future. Place is clean and tidy as well.

For a great value meal, this place is great. Serving size was just right and they have a nice selection of Japanese drinks as well. Really well cooked and service was friendly and efficient. The place is very clean, open and airy and easy location to get to. Will be back next time I’m nearby.

Really good small Japanese Restaurant. Located inside the arcade. They have some seatings outside too. The foods are truly delicious and loves how they do the katsu dish. It is thin and crispy but still packed with meats. Definitely will be back if I am in Adelaide again.
