Joan's Pantry - Closed Public Holidays

Jeepers creepers the broad beans were a smash! An avo smash that is the Egg, Avo and Greens was delightful - with a few peas and broad beans thrown amongst the leaves atop a couple of slices of rye, it was a top shelf bunching experience

Thought it’d be nice for a quick salad roll as I’m on the road all day, no rolls. Okay I’ll have a sausage roll and a cappuccino. Sausage roll was soggy but tasty, obviously microwaved. $12 for a soggy sausy, I won’t be back.

Food ok but ober priced in most areas and average service
With many other establishments in Blackwood I'm not sure I would be racing back

Often gets very busy but understandably so. Often go for lunch and always impressed with the quality of the food. Generally able to always find a table during the week without booking, staff are very accomodating. Worthy drive through the hills.

What a cute place! Apparently it has been around for yonks and you do truly feel like your stepping back in time. The food was spot on and we all enjoyed our breakfast there. As a bonus there is a little playground just around the corner perfect for little ones.

Consistently good food and service. Great location and vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating. Can bring your dog and sit outside if you wish. Not far from the playground and oval, so good location to come if you have kids. There is also a community garden that you can walk through.

Beautiful setting with the community garden behind the shop and lovely leafy shade with tables to the side. Good food and coffee options. Child and pet friendly too

Food fabulous although way too long with the coffees. Coffee not hot once received. Not enough staff maybe? Was there over 2 & 1/2 hours and no service asking if we would have liked another coffee. Disappointing.

Had coffee at Joan's Pantry after a morning walk along Minnow Creek. Good coffee, nice setting, a great place to aim for after a brisk walk. Its wheelchair accessible too!

I took my mum here for coffee. It would have been a 5 star experience except when I took my newborn to change him the change facilities were disgusting. Luckily I always have his portable change mat with me. Hopefully when I return next time they will have invested $10 for a new mat from Kmart

Joan's Pantry is a great countryside gem with outstanding personal service with character. The food is incredible, full of flavour, and the location is cozy. This is the perfect date spot for anything extending from a coffee or a full meal.

TIP: When you do go, check out the special board before you order.

Tastiest egg and bacon roll I've had in years. The long black was also pretty good. Pleasant environment while i was there.

Alwats popular local cafe run by a local family. Be prepared for a wait at busy times while you relax in the hills setting.

Maybe the prices are a little bit more here but the range is great including gluten free options. The location is perfect if you're attending the adjacent park. Parking is easy and I would personally recommend this as a place that is definitely worth a look if you have the time.

Coffee just a as requested. Super selection of nibbles. It was a hot day but air conditioning set on to low. We moved to the area near the service counter & that was just right. Bit noise but overall will be back.

Great location with a generous menu of gluten free alternatives that taste great! Staff were extremely rude!

Service can be a little slow because the place is pretty big, but the food and coffee is good, and it's well priced.

Beautiful surroundings complimented the delicious lunch burger and cheesecake. Generous servings and great prices.

Have been going to this cafe for about 6 years. The positives are that it is in a good close location. The negatives, way too expensive for the quality of the food I have never once been amazed or even happy with the food here only ever satisfied. For the price being paid I really don't think this is good enough, preferred the old owners ten fold. A decrease in price would drastically change my opinion.
