Inglewood Inn reviews
72Beautiful place with a romantic view. Very nice ambiance. Food was not bad. The chips were the highlight. Aranchini balls and salt and pepper squid were not bad. Korean fried chicken was not great unfortunately. The batter of the fried chicken was not crispy enough and the sauce wasn't working well with it. But didn't get to try other items as we went during a quiet time. Stars for the atmosphere.
Overall experience was amazing. Beautiful scenery while enjoying an expert crafted meal. I had the pan fried gnocchi and it blew me away. Most well-balanced and perfectly satiating pasta I've had. The entree of marinated olives exceeded expectations also. I'll definitely be back & recommend to friends. Thanks so much to all staff and cooking crew
Hidden just a short way up the north east road sits this little beauty! Great place for a frothy, wine or gin and a great place to eat. Locally sourced produce meets honest cooking. The food was fabulous and the service was excellent, couldn’t ask for a better experience.
Great facilities, beautiful ambience, friendly helpful staff good food, a bit pricey for what you get. Desert quality not so good. Still highly recommended.
This is a great little pub in a small country town. The best views and service you will ever find. Craft beers to die for.
Staff was friendly, drink selection were good. Food was slightly long coming out and was decent. Not a bad place for a stop over
Met friends on Sunday lunch, food was fantastic from crisp pork belly to lovely steak, loved the ambience and the winter view of the rolling hillside, I highly recommend for food and relaxation.
Being a local it's a bit disappointing that the menu doesn't change and is over priced for a small portion.
I have walked out the last two times I have been there and spent half the amount at the TTG pub and always satisfied.
Time to change the menu guys, it's a great spot.
Very disappointing l wanted to support a pub in the Hills.
Once inside we were told different menu for walk ins Other patrons had a set menu. We were told the dinning room was going to be full so opted to sit outside at that time, there was a ray of sunshine but then sun disappeared and grey clouds were visible, it was very cold. So we ate very quickly and warmed up inside, but we couldn't stay too long in the dinning room.l know the spacing, l know Covid 19 but there were empty tables when we left. I get all that. It was not a pleasant time. Food was warm when brought out but soon very cold with the chilly cold air.
My wife and I came here with a small group of friends, to celebrate a joint birthday.
From the homely feel, as you walk in and get a drink (The variety of Gins to choose from, was plentyful). We grabbed a drink (the bar staff were knowledgable of the local area and their drink selelctions) and sat down in an ecclectic sitting room that made you feel like you were in a combination of the old west and Africa. Once our table was ready, we were led out onto the deck with these picturesque views of rolling hills and a delightfully running creek. Josh, our table attendant was brilliant with his selection advice on wines and gins and marrying them up with the dishes on offer. He was engaging and great to talk too. The quality of the food was outstanding and left you wanting more but delivered enough on the plate, that made you very comfortable feeling like you couldn't fit more in. The sticky date pudding, was the best I have had in S. A without a doubt. To finish with a great coffee made the whole experience, elated, with a smile on my face as we walked back to the car. I can't wait to come back.
What a wonderful spot in the Adelaide hills! Despite all the challenges 2020 has brought these guys were absolutely amazing for our large group lunch on Sunday.
The set menu was fantastic and every single one of our 16 guests raves about their meal. All came out at the same time and hot, despite no pre-ordering. The gnocchi was particularly delicious. Lots of options for various dietary requirements.
The setting is gorgeous and super cosy for winter, though I imagine spring and autumn would be particularly spectacular.
Staff were friendly and accomodating. Look forward to returning and enjoying the gin bar to the fullest.
The best pub in the Adelaide Hills.
Quality food, regular changing menus that deliver freshness, great taste while catering for everyone.
Drinks are all locally sources and are outstanding in flavour.
Service is impeccable, staff and management go out of their way to make the experience special.
Fantastic views.
Can offer no higher recommendation.
Have stopped for drinks and dined here on several occasions. The menu has a great choice from 'pub type' to restaurant-quality meals. Friendly atmosphere and stunning views. Highly recommended
Terrible service had 3 mains 4th main came after we finished our mains and it was only a salad very dissapointed
Nice food, great location for wedding or casual lunch/dinner. Staff are great and a cosy little coffee area out front
Very bad experience waited 1hr for waitress to be asked if we wanted drinks very disapointed with the meals,
Also grandaughters end up with mouldy cheesecakes.
Definately won, t be back.
We all wish we had never gone there.
Sadly, even though the view is lovely the food is not: (Old chips, over cooked hard chicken. The wait staff were very kind and didn’t charge us for one of the mains but the table next to us also complaint. $5 for a glass of sparkling water is also ridiculous!
Staff unfriendly to the point of toxic. We had to wait for more than 1 and a half hours for our meal after I made an order which was not available in an apparent delivery of "revenge service". Will not be back. Only rated one star because zero stars unavailable.
Outstanding food served tonight, I had rump steak with rocket & pear salad plus mushroom sauce and chips
You will not find a more accomodating venue for your wedding! Milly and Emma looked after our wedding back in September and it was perfect. From the minute we walked in we fell in love with the view and setting. And the food.wow! Highly recommended! Thank you so much
