I have been attending Hyde and Partners for many years and always endeavour to see Kate Haslam. She is very approachable, thorough, and always explains things in detail, in layman’s language. The reception staff are always very courteous and professional. I have every faith and trust in being a patient at Hyde and Partners.

Very busy practice and very efficient in customer service at reception. I was a new patient and seen a new Dr whom was very enthusiastic to take down all my details pertaining to health. Very friendly and great listening skills. Look forward to continuing using Hyde & Partners Medical Centre.

Have been going to Hyde and Partners for years and usually very happy but last few visits have not been a pleasant experience at all. From being made to wait for up to 45mins for a scheduled appointment which has sometimes been held in the storage shed outside so had to wait in the carpark to today’s appointment 40 mins late to then have the experience of a very rude abrupt Doctor

Staff are polite and friendly. Nurse Jayne was kind and professional and Drs are professional, kind, always ready to help and so knowledgeable. A wonderful local practice caring for the community.

Thankfully we are not at Hyde and Partners often but when we do the professionalism is evident from all staff. We always comment about this and are grateful for the team approach when we need the help.

Hi guys. Going to the Doctors is never a great experience to be honest. But the ladies in the reception area are brilliant. Always under the pump but never flustered always a smile and a greeting that puts the patient at ease.

A good doctor surgery. Doctor Harris is one of the best doctors I've had! Friendly staff as well. Very clean and well maintained waiting areas, and nicely maintained and well kept gardens.

Expected a call from Doctor Brown which he rang me on time as planned. A very good service especially now Covid is rampant in the area. Thank you Hyde and Partners.

I don't normally review, however i left this place humiliated and angry at how i had been treated, 4 days later still feel the same, from a medical centre?
Three bad experiences in a row with the same woman at the reception desk, she is rude & clearly been doing the this role too long. I was on each occasion including booking to fully qualify myself loudly and verbally, disclosing all my personal details DOB, address, ph no.etc to all in the large waiting room. She took phone calls whist i was there and left them on hold excessively whilst performing mundane tasks such as straightening brochure holders? I have no issues with covid protocol or any other requirements. I will never attend this practice again. Time to employ someone with some people skills, and empathy. As per other comments, she is a bully and enjoys powering over people, Sad Person!

Helpful team, friendly smile when you visit for an appointment. Remember during these Covid times that they are trying their best for you their customers.

Julie on reception is a bully. I have been a patient here since I was 4 and I've never been treated more poorly by another receptionist. Julie humiliated me in front of all the patients in reception.

I am exempt from wearing a mask and she proceeded to use her false sense of power over me in reception, in front of other patients. She asked me "did you speak with your doctor about not wearing a mask? " then when I told her that I'm fairly sure it's illegal for her to ask me about my conversation with my doctor, she became more irrational and said that if I needed help not wearing a mask that I should have spoken to my doctor about it. She said my first name out loud, the other patients were looking at me and I had to remind her that I will not discuss my private medical conversation with her. I was so embarrassed and started to shake. When I told her I'm not trying to be difficult just trying to understand why it's Okay for her to openly speak about my medical appointment she said "well you are" (being difficult). This case should be taken to a lawyer.

Reply 11/8: thank you for the reply. I am glad to hear you can't comment on the internet. May I suggest your reception staff attend some additional training on how to maintain the same level of privacy in clinic.

Find somewhere else if you can. 1) its expensive 2) They will not tell you if any of their doctors have a special interest in anything ie: chronic pain or womens health 3) If your GP leaves the practice they do not tell you. 4) You can never get in to see your actual doctor the day you need to, so be prepared to see whatever doctor is free and never have a continuance of care. Unless of course you know you are going to be sick in 3 weeks time. 5) you are generally waiting for up to an hour after your appointment time 6) you get maybe 10 minutes "consult" and then pay $78 for the privilege 7) the doctor generally doesn't have time to read your file before they see you; and then most times they don't really help anyway because they do not have time to look at you as a whole person. Many illnesses are missed due to the time constraints they put on their patients. Consults should be at least 20 minutes, with 10 minutes for notes to be written up and reading the next patients file - without being charged for a double appointment.

Excellent, my boys saw a GP today for the first time at this clinic she was so lovely and helpful. Would highly recommend. We have found our family GP.

The only practice I have been too in the last 20+ years where you get to see the same doctor, over and over again! I can truly say I have a family doctor due to the way this practice operates - which is very important when dealing with your health! Thanks Hyde and Partners for the way you run your practice.

Was told there would be no fee, bulk billed, then get a phone call saying walked out without paying. Totally confused and disappointed.

I was seen by the nurse and doctor in a timely manner. I have great confidence in their knowledge and ability.
My doctor has diagnosed two life threatening illnesses and subsequent treatments have lead to successful treatment. I have great faith in him.

Very happy with my first visit to Hyde & Partners. All staff and the doctor were very friendly and informative. Another bonus was I saw the doctor at the scheduled appointment time

I am a new patient who had to shout out loud my private details to the receptionist because “I can’t hear”. When she asked for my next of kin details I said I won’t yell them out I would prefer to write them down (it’s enough everybody heard my address, phone number, email etc etc). To my answer, the lady just smack my Medicare card back on the desk and did not even took my partners details at all.

I am a psychiatric nurse, worked in GP clinics before and I do value my confidentiality and safety of shared private informations. There’s no harm to give a questionnaire to a client to fill out or choice of saying everything out loud.
