We loved every single wine that we tried and the views were incredible.

What a fantastic experience we had at Hugh Hamilton! It was actually my second time visiting this beautiful winery and I fell in love with it even more. Huge shout out to Will, who’s service was fantastic. Will added to our experience with his passion about wine, the family history of the winery, and he made us feel at home. I would highly recommend coming here, one of the most beautiful wineries in all of Adelaide.

We loved our experience at Hugh Hamilton Wines. The Cellar Door was great value for money and the service was great. The wines were delicious and of the four wineries we visited in McLaren Vale was by far the most delicious. Our group of 10 had a great time.

Wonderful wine tasting experience. Will was super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Great variety of reds. Shearers cut was our favourite. Olives there were also an amazing bonus!

We visited this winery in January 2023. Possibly the prettiest cellar door in the McLaren Vale region. It's a circular room with floor to ceiling windows revealing stunning views across the vineyards and further out across the Vale.

A fantastic wine tasting experience with passionate staff who really do understand the wines they are serving and tell wonderful stories about the wine making.

Quality wine showing lovely examples of wines from the McLaren Vale region but also showcasing innovative, rule breaking wines as well.

A cellar door not to be missed if you are touring the McLaren Vale region.

Excellent spot to stop by. The cellar door has a 180 degree view of the surround vines. Very picturesque. Plenty of parking too.

Absolutely worth a visit, this is how wine tasting should be and delicious wine. Beth did an amazing job super friendly and knowledgeable, she even did very well to fit in with our short time period as we had as we had another booking elsewhere. Make sure you leave yourself an hour for a tasting

We had a fantastic wine tasting experience as a group of 10. Beautiful wine with interesting stories. Will was very knowledgeable and accomodating. Hugh Hamilton is a beautiful setting amongst the vines and stunning view. We will be back and look forward to the Hugh Hamilton tastings in Sydney.

Visited Hugh Hamilton Wines and although the weather was doing its best to dampen our enthusiasm, once we walked into the tasting room our day changed for the better. Alex greeted us and then spent the next 45 minutes taking through a journey of carefully selected and delightful wines. If you want to taste well prepared and smooth wines I would recommend a visit.

Really disappointed, I visited Hugh Hamilton 3 weeks ago and had a fantastic time - hence wanting to take my family. This time it appeared that they were to busy to provide table water or complete the tasting within an hour. Super disappointed, likely won’t be back, despite liking the ‘intruder’ (no opportunity to try this this time anyways, apparently).

I ordered gifts to be delivered for Mother’s Day, but unfortunately didn’t received on time, the staff are very apologetic, contacted me & traced the package. Sula one of the staff was so lovely rang me that package will surely be received, & it did arrived with so much appreciations. Then I received a package from them saying sorry for the delay. Highly recommended.good variety of wines to enjoy, & more so lovely staff
