Hotel Victor

Room was nice, pretty standard motel style room, comfy bed, clean room, friendly staff, good food in the bar. The website stated that they have music downstairs on Friday and Saturday so we were a bit frustrated that they had a very loud DJ on a Thursday night until 11pm and our room was directly above it. Also the bathrooms are absolutely tiny

Visited for a meal at the pub. Fast, friendly, casual service, very comfortable setting. Lots of gluten free options. Chef knows how to cook a medium rare steak that is actually medium rare and not overdone. Great range of drinks. Full marks from me:)

Messed up the coffee orders at our table - coffee orders wrong, small coffees instead of large. Then said we didn’t pay for large coffee so they won’t make it right - so have to live with a small coffee. When my partner asked if she can have a cake - response was yes but you have to pay! Had to go back to the counter and say I’m happy to pay but such language and service is atrocious. In the end had to pay for 2 coffees just to have a large cup!
