Great old pub, with all the great old pub ingredients, a nice meal, friendly service and comfortable atmosphere

Outstanding service - at short notice 12 of us walked in without a booking. A group table was created within minutes. Our meals were good as well.

The counter staff is disrespectful and the food was good as my cheese in the burger was not melted as I petted it away and the burgers were were spreading out while eating have to eat everything with fork knife with single single item from it. Where as I am chef the burger won’t be spreader from the bun if it’s the single patty burger. The bruschetta was great in taste and dessert were amazing.

Hospitality across all areas was first rate. Best coffee we've had except Melbourne Food in the Bistro was good too. We'd stay again and if just having a day trip stop there for a meal and. Room was good and everything needed was provided; bedding and chairs were comfortable. Special note of thanks for our welcome.

Worst manners and service, and even worse food. Went for lunch on my birthday and finished up being sick. Never again

Disappointed with meal service. At our table for 10,2 meals come out then half an hour later the rest of the meals were delivered AND the dining room wasn't full! Hasn't happened previously so hoping it was a one off...

It is a very nice and tidy hotel.
Right on the foreshore with easy access to everything.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The rooms are nice and cosy.
Definitely worth a stay.

Love the food here. Look at the size of my meat pie. Its huge. Veggies were yummy too. Excellent service.

Use to be the go to pub, however the night I went with my granddaughter we were welcome with a guy screaming a very bad word and I had to pull my granddaughter out of the way as he left. Not a good start and that was nobody's fault. However the food was very was very disappointing I asked for the vegan/ vegetarian dish I was very disappointed all it was green veg a hell alot of chickpeas (like a tin), couscous 6 tofu plus dressing. It was just so bland. I was expecting so much.

Beautiful food with large serves. Staff are friendly, helpful and wonderful!
Had the lamb shank and a steak with prawns 10/10 recommend.

Expensive for what we had on the platec.a couple of dips and salt n pepper sqid a nd abt 10 chips. Was no taste to the food.very disappointing

Meals are absolutely delicious here.
Give this place a go, it has the beach just across the road and in spring, summer and autumn you can always sit outside with a wine or beer and enjoy a meal with friends

Great location right in the centre of Victor Harbour’s little town. This hotel is beautiful and clean with an attached restaurant and bar. Good for weekends away to rest up and enjoy nature. Granite island is just a 10 minute jog away. It’s also 4 minutes walk from the railway station and information centre.

Beautiful and well maintained rooms, excellent and friendly staffs, and the best part is wonderful food served.highly recommended.will visit again ️️

Staff were all very friendly food was lovely and the hotel is situated perfectly close to both beach and walking paths as well as shops

Worst meal I’ve ever had, chicken was chewy and pink and the gravy was horrid. Nausea and food poisoning hit shortly after giving up on trying to cut through the chewy chicken and I had to make my way to the bathrooms which were in a worse state than me.

Meal was nice once we worked out their stuff up, trying to overcharge for food. Wont go there on a public holiday again though. 10% surcharge on everything. Next time I'll go to another pub. All in all wasn't too bad.

Absolutely the best m, the rooms were perfect, the cleaning staff were so friendly and welcoming, the food was to die for the reception and bar staff were so friendly, could not fault the place, I had a wonderful time and will definitely return

The rooms are very clean, bed is excellent, as is the shower
