You will pay just a little extra but without doubt worth it. Friendly staff, quality service and food. Great place to catch up for lunch with a friend.

I busride, run &/or walk to Aldinga then reward myself with espresso coffee and cake. Plus pies and pasties to take home. HGB's Vanilla Slice is delicious.

Great coffee, the bread is always fresh, although the ciabatta isn't always as awesome as it was, but the pie of the month, their sourdough bread, the standard pastries and their vegan pasty are well worth the visit, and the custard slice, regular and Vegan are both delicious!
PS ; I'm not a vegan and love the vegan pasty, like, alot.

Best pies in SA. The staff are great and the service is fast as the lineup is in the street. Great cakes and coffee to follow your pie fest. I have actually never seen so many different varieties of pies and all homemade.

Love this bakery. Everything is of the highest quality and very fresh and tasty. Great atmosphere. You can sit and have a lovely coffee too.

Great pies, but need to lift their coffee game as mine tasted like a milkshake as you can get better coffee at Mcdonalds.

Good Place To Grab A Nice Little Pie, Pasty Or Sausage Roll On The Way To Work, Which Goes Nicely With Their Coffee. Great Location. Great Food. Great Staff

Friendly staff, very nice sausage rolls. The potato pies however, garbage. The meat/sauce on the inside tasted like vomit and there wasn't even enough potato on top to mask it. Twice this has happened in the span of the month. Wish I didn't give the pie a second chance. Also, half the time about 1 or 2pm, they've run out most of the decent pies already.
