Home Grain Bakery- Aldinga reviews
51Great bakery, best custard Belina ever variety of food, friendly helpful staff, well organised, has outdoor sitting area, gets very busy, Covid safe, a must place to buy if passing buy.
Amazing pies! Big chunky chunks of meat, great flavours, delish. I tried the steak, bacon and cheese pie and it's a winner.
A little bit busy today as was expected, but we were served quickly by a lovely lady, and the food as always was amazing. Coffees also came out quickly considering they told us there may be a little wait. One of our favourite bakeries
Always the BEST bakery products in SA. Just travelled from Paralowie to grab some Homegrain goodness.
Make sure to get in early for a lunchtime pastry. Didn't have the one I wanted but enjoyed the second choice.
Parking is a bit tight but worth the effort. Park a little further away and justify a sticky bun you can walk off.
This is our bakery of choice for our fast food. Great raaange of standards with specials called " pie of the Month" YUM.
A great bakery with amazing coffee. Staff greeted us all with a smile.
Lots of beautiful deserts and a great view of the gardens.
A lovely place to go for a cake and coffee.
Good range of buns, pasties, pies, bread etc Great coffee. Good prices. Good value. Good service. Sat outside. Very relaxed environment. Very happy.
This bakery has the best chunky beef pies I have ever tasted, I have just had a beef, cheese and bacon pie and it was absolutely delicious with big chunks of beef.
This bakery is highly recommended
Pie of the month - satay pork - LEGENDARY! Great food all round. Busy but still got a table on the verandah. Must stop if driving past Aldinga.
Nice little spot on the way back from the wineries. The girl serving us was very pleasant and helpful. You must try their caramel slice & rhubarb cake!
In the hub on Old Coach Road is Home Grain Bakery. Featured on T. V show for South Australia for a reason. It’s a great bakery. With great pies and sweets. Can eat in, or take away. Friendly customer service. Always busy and can see the baking take place. An open to view bakery is always healthy, I think.
I love the pastry on the pies! Quite simply.
Steak pies is steak not sinewy.
Coffee available.
I love coming here with a friend to sit down. It’s only a small stop in-to-eat with nothing flash, but the birds to share the space. But it’s the pie! The choices, the pastry, the filling.
And I’m eyeing off those lamingtons, every time.
Best pie i have had in a long time. Made from real meat. Very chunky and you could see the bacon pieces.
Horrible service by a rude girl named vickie. Food was ok but will not be returning service needs to be welcoming not snobbed off
Good pies and doughnuts!
Would be better if the fridge was restocked during the day as they never have any ice coffee in the afternoon.
My sausage roll was so badly burnt I couldn't eat it. I was devastated, drove from Gawler as I heard good things. Sadly it wasn't meant to be.
Vickie and Stacey were amazing!
Great suggestions, unreal food and phenomenal iced coffee!
Tempted to make the 70km trip to get back here tomorrow.
Best bakery in the south. I had the pie of the month today which was chicken, boccinci and olives. Delightful. Also in the past I've had some of the best pies ever: venison vindaloo, butter chicken and others.
Keep up the great work crew.
The Vanilla Slice was one of the best I've ever had but the savoury items were OK rather than great.
