Made to wait in the car in 30c to do a telehealth appointment because I had my toddler with me who they would not let in the building because he is not vaccinated or at age to wear a mask. Despite not being informed of this prior to the appointment. Certainly not family focused at all. Poor showing!

My partners usual Doctor was unavailable.
I joined her when she saw Dr Sue Mann recently for a back concern and questions relating to C19 vaccination.
Dr Mann was uninterested in pusuing investigative scans to determine cause of back pain. She stated there's no point to go through scans and did not even offer the option of having a referral there in case it worsens.
Re the vaccine Dr Mann flowed the bouncing ball of questions on the SA Govt website and reaffirming being under 40 she was in fact NOT eligible for the first shot.
Dr Mann showed little empathy, was discourteous and in my opinion a sincere discredit to the Hindmarsh GP brand.
If zero stars was an option that'd be my choice of rating.

Very busy and rude reception. It's my first time seeing doctor there, I was charged $78 just for a 10 minutes quick gp consultation. I won't go to this place anymore

6 stars for Dr Hayden Johns. Professional,
caring doctor. Hard to get a better doctor.
A great clinic but Minus 10 stars for Dr David Fitzgerald who wanted me to get out my electric wheelchair and hop into their manual wheelchair because my electric wheelchair might damage his precious "Wooden Floors". I'm 61 and have Muscular Dystrophy and this would be possible but would put at me at risk of injury and a week of pain if I toppled over. I mean I can't walk anymore cause my back muscles aren't strong enough to do so. He's a qualified muscular skelatal specialist somehow. Next time I'll book Dr John's.

Lucky zero isn't an option.

Called and asked to come in earlier - then the doctor is running 40 minutes late.

Rude staff - awful time management.
5: 40 appointment I leave work earlier to get there at 5: 20 as per phone call request to then have to wait till 6: 20?

Very rude staff about it aswell with little car or empathy.

Honestly avoid this place if possible go anywhere but Here.

Unbelievable service from the receptionist and Dr Fitzgerald tonight. After attending our usual practices and being told sorry we are too busy and can’t help go to emergency at a hospital. My partner and I drove around looking for a practice and found Hindmarsh GP. My partner remained in the car while I enquired if we could see a doctor. The amazing receptionist said we are closed but let me see and ask the doctor. Dr Fitzgerald came out and said he would see my partner. This practice and staff actually care about people. Our family will be coming here from this day forward. We are so grateful.

Lovely doctors, mostly friendly receptionists with exception of one of the older ladies who is extremely short with you and has no consideration of patient's situation.

They charge a lot (30$ extra for visit). Reception really works to make you to visit as many times as possible even when there is no need for that. Clinic is really focused on getting visits, visits and more visits.
DR BRUCE MUGFORD is good and if there is no need for visit he can just send you prescription by mail.
DR KEN MAH is horrible, although really working on his smart appearance. I was sitting 20 min with him to approve GP plan (DR MUGFORD was away), and this GP plan was per-made by nurse for him. DR KEN MAH did everything wrong and finally have to call nurse again to fix it. Having 30 years old sport injury I have visit many doctors during this time, when DR KEN MAH told me looking to my X-ray “you have nothing bad” I was shocked.

Had a 8 min appointment with Dr Bruce, he was more than 1 hour late.
After waiting for so long, he did not apologise. As he was so late, he did not take the time to make a good diagnostic.
I explained him my symptoms, and he answers me "that's too much I don't have time for all of this"
I am still sick and I don't know what I have. I will never come back!
Waste of time and money! He charged me 77$ for this!

I've seen Dr Mugford and Fitzgerald, both very thorough and competent. Dr Mugford was especially good at diagnosing my running injury as he is a muscle-skeletal specialist. Both do general health checks and take the extra time to explain why they order certain tests. I've had skin checks, women's health checks, travel immunizations through here. Haven't had any health conditions so I can't comment on that side of things.

I would rate 5 stars for the service but sometimes consults run over and the wait is usually anywhere between 0min-35min for me. Sure there is a gap payment if you're not on concession or pension (looks like that's the biggest complaint here) but it's $32 for a single consult and is well worth it since you can get an appointment often on the day or at short notice, and they are thorough. If getting a quick script or med certificate for work then go for a big bulk bill place instead.

Dr Johns is an extremely good medical practitioner. Working in health for 46 yrs, I have good insight into thoroughness and he wins outright for best GP in my area.

The GP we see is great - always takes the time listen. The administrators go above and beyond to help. Couldn't recommend this clinic highly enough.

Great Doctors who are all very professional. Had a skin spot removed on
a same day booking. I was in and out in no time. The reception staff were nice and pleasant to deal with.

I
went in there to get my medical certificate for UBER and to get my drivers accreditation card!

However that experience has turned into the worst nightmare of diabolical proportion, I don’t even know where to begin!

Doctor H S JOHNS (MBBS) examined me, and based on his verbal records everything was fine, and I’m frankly quite embarrassed that I didn’t check the certificate of fitness thoroughly, because

According to Doctor H S JOHNS I have cardio vascular disorders and I also suffer from black outs and also eye sight problem and seemingly I was also born on another date now!

Well the punch line is he has ticked all the wrong boxes by mistake, and based on his examination
He has made, not one, not 2, not three, but 4 mistakes in the 15 -20 minute examination session we had together.

Well I just got a letter from the government of South Australia that I may be stripped of my current drivers license let alone continuing UBER or getting any accreditation!

This Doctor H S JOHNS has unleashed a world of hell upon me and now I must go and correct this
Cause my heart is perfectly fine and I have never had black outs and that I don’t wear glasses and that I was born on another date!

I’m surely paying this fake hospital with drunk druggie doctors a visit this morning to see who is suffering from eye sight problems, me or the doctor?
Who’s got cardiovascular problems? Black outs?
SA lives matter, never take your loved ones to Hindermarsh medical clinic!

I am grateful to be seeing Dr Nicole Montana at Hindmarsh. She is a compassionate and capable physician who is willing to go the extra mile to provide outstanding patient care.

Terrible service! I had a 9: 30 appointment, the doctor did not call me into their rooms until 10: 15. Spent 5 minutes with me and still charged me the gap payment.

They used to be a very good surgery however as they have grown the service has continued to decline. Of the 5 or 6 doctors at the practice I will now only see one of them, Dr Bowler. He is still professional, caring and provides a very good service to our family. The rest don't seem to care.
