Hampstead Hotel

Brilliant. Eggplant parmigiana fantastic and ordered it off the menu from the QR code at the table direct to the kitchen and bar also paid without leaving the table.

Food is average for pub meals, matched with a good range of drinks, including coffees and teas as well as booze. Poker machines do not intrude into the dining area, but are there for people who want to have a flutter.the tables are well spaced so people can chat, without being overheard or being bothered by noise. Overall improved since I last went there 20 years ago.

I love going to the Hampstead for a meal. Staff are all great and are always friendly and welcoming. My meals have always been lovely and good value for money. Keep up the good work guys and I will keep coming back.

The two roast of the day meals we ordered came stone cold, not just the meat, but everything on the plate. The chefs only solution was to quickly zap it in the microwave thus making it very tough and rubbery. Probably doesn't help that they run an all you can eat roast night on Sundays where they obviously pre-cook everything.
The other 5 meals on the table were ok, nothing great though.
Wouldn't recommend getting the All you can eat "Cold" roast!

Was not impressed at all with the food or service. The hotel used to be really great could not complain. BUT NOW AFTER GOING THERE FOR MY 60TH BIRTHDAY EVERYONE WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED AND DISSCUSSTED WITH UNDER COOKED MEALS AND MEALS THAT NEVER CAME OUT. WOULD NOT GO THERE AGAIN

Loved their happiest hour offer. All food and drinks 50% off from 5 to 6 pm. We were too full at the end of the meal. My husband specially loved their Lemon Lime bitter. Definitely going back before the offer finishes. Only drawback was the flies.

Ordered the eggplant parmigiana on Ubereats. It was the worst I've had. Rather than slicing and layering the eggplant into nice thin pieces, they literally just cut a whole eggplant in half and crumbed and fried it, topped with a minuscule amount of sauce and cheese. The middle had no flavour and was still raw.

What a disappointment.

We ordered dips? It was tiziki and a tomoto salsa.should have asked before ordering our fault but was disappointed, no hummus or beetroot or capsicum dips actual dips we didnt want to order sause and pita. Lol

Meal was nice. However the rolls were too hard, over heated. 2nd lot nearly as bad! Just give a slice of bread if its too hard to warm a roll!

Food arrived quickly. Busy on a Saturday night. They don't do cocktail specials at present like they used to do. Food was tasty.

Lunch with 3 friends 17 Feb. They were served their meals. One had finished and I still hadn't been served my "roast from carvery. I telephoned asking to be served and minutes later received the plate below. Not impressed. Been going here for years. Won't be going again. We received complimentary coffees as apology.

Great service. Great atmosphere. Well worth a visit. Daily specials at a good price. Friendly staff, comfortable feel.

Great menu selection suitable for all ages; children and adults. Hotel has great specials on week night's for a decent price and good selection of the Salad Bar thats available with any main meals, including cold and hot pumpkin, melons, beets, chickpea salad just to name a few. For a hotel I was surprised at how amazing a grilled chicken with brocolini and mash tasted.

Brilliant meals well priced gaming room and staff very friendly lovely nibbles great coffee all in all the best place I've been even birthday gift and money for points definitely a five

Very busy with a nearly hour long wait for food after at least 10 minutes wait to order. Food wasn't good quality. I won't be returning.

Herb chicken over cooked & very dry & luke warm. Steak was well done & asked for rare. Won't be back!

Lunch service was quick and freindly
. The banners around the hotel have the best offers avalible for meals so take note of these before entering.

Over an hour wait for food.and so very disappointing considering this hotel used to have good food. I understand there was a big group in there but they were booked so should have allowed for walk in customers.food was substandard.paid 38 dollars for sure and turf.prawns still frozen steak cold chips cold.hubby had overcooked schnitzel.sorry was just bad food and disappointed.

If you want a feed don't get the Roast of the day, not the best, five small slices of meat 1 small potatoe 1 small cut of Pumpkin, only wish I took a pick, they should Pickup their game.
