I have been coming here since I was a kid but now I'm an adult they have been nothing but rude, fat shaming and horrible to me. I went in today to talk about mental health and the doctor told me that I shouldn't worry about seeing a psychologist because my issues aren't "severe" enough to her. Plus she also commented on my weight even though I'm healthy and all my blood tests are fine. The reception staff are ALWAYS condescending and rude to you. So over this clinic! Never ever come here! There are better places to go

Went in today for my children’s vaccine, my daughter got a bit nervous and instead of the administering nurse reassuring or letting me reassure, she pressured me to restrain my child so she could jab the needle into her arm, spilling some of the vaccine down her arm. My daughter was traumatised and it was just the worst experience ever. She has had several vaccinations including the flu vaccination every year (never at this gp) and it has never gone like this. Will definitely never be back and I hope no other children experience this horror.

Called the clinic to ask for a prescription today, got into a conversation which was simply to get answer for a question I had, the receptionist didn’t like the question and hung up on me. I’m not sure how this particular girl still has her job as on more than one occasion she has been rude to other patients as well as myself. I will be in contact with clinic manager

Blatantly discriminated against today. I have a lawful mask exemption which was actually given to me by one of their own GPs! Arrived for my appointment only to be told they're not accepting patient's who can't wear masks even though they have legal exemptions! I requested that my exemption be made known to the admin staff months prior as to not get hassled about it. So they think they can change the rules now? The Emergency Management Directions state that people with a relevant medical condition are exempt from the wearing of face masks. The Disability Discrimination Act 1992 is also relevant here. I was utterly embarrassed and then told I could try elsewhere or have a phone consult instead. I will be making a complaint to the Human Rights Commission. Never returning either.

If you don't care about your health or actually fixing your health issue's then go see Dr Ryan you are sure to get treated with contempt from a GP who has clearly given up and is more interested in telling stories about himself than treating patients! Just because you went to medical school doesn't make you the smartest person in the room!

We have never been happier with a Dr before like we are with Dr Yapa. Me and my wife have been seeing him a few years now and we could not have asked for a better Dr! Our kids are the happiest to see him, to the point we pay regular visits to him just because. He is always with a smile, has a wealth of knowledge, puts his patients first and he gets things done! We really need more Drs like him! Thank you Dr Yapa for your service!

Was a good practice, now a two week wait for a gp. Patient care has been replaced by staff wellness and "precious are we" values. If they could survive without dealing with patients they would. Smarter than you attitude from staff ruining a once very good practice.

Doctor's have always been wonderful however have had several experiences with the reception staff being extremely rude, Caitlyn perhaps medical reception is not the right role for you? Such a shame to have disrespectful reception staff when the Doctor's are great a real let down.

Most communication with receptionists have been quite rude. They make you feel like an idiot, definitely need to work on customer service. Doctors have always been very good

Can't comment on the practice itself as couldn't get a word in with one of the most abrupt rudest receptionist I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. She certainly needs retraining

To anyone reading this beware of Dr. Yapa. Overall GPAxis Seaford has been a good reliable doctors surgery but recently i had a bad experience and want the general public to know.

I had a complete rupture to my achilles tendon while playing tennis over a month ago. Dr Yapa referred me to get an ultrasound so i did. It confirmed there was a complete rupture to my right achilles tendon.

I booked in another appointment to see him, he said i will need an MRI to assess the damage further. I got the MRI done and then went back to a different doctor today, she said i should have been told to go straight to emergency at flinders. So i went to Flinders today, explained to the orthopaedic doctor that i had been walking around on my leg for the past month in and out of the doctors surgery and was in a lot of pain. The orthopaedic doctor said the same thing that Dr Yapa should have told me to come to emergency straight away and pointed out that Dr Yapa referred me to the wrong department, the Plastic Surgery department and not the Orthopaedic department. I finally have a cast on with crutches and have been booked in for surgery.

If you're reading this Dr Yapa i want you to know that you have caused more damage to my leg and delayed the surgery, i am in a lot more pain from when i first came in. I have also lost out on a lot of work within the past month which could have been avoided.

To anyone else reading this, think twice before booking into GP Axis Seaford and avoid this so called "Doctor". Thanks for your time.

Great staff. Waiting times vary. You wait longer in the arvo. Lunchtime im in and out within half hour. Dr Ryan is an awesome bloke and a great doctor.
Been going since it was Trinity Medical Center.

Long waiting times up to 40 minutes sometimes, how ever was late by 5 mins, and was told I needed to make new appointment.charge you 35 dollars (which is steep) if cancellation of appointment is with in an hour of the appointment, however they can not ever run on time for an appointment.

They are always polite and helpful. The only thing is waiting time in the waiting room, cause of coronavirus.

Dr yapa would have to be the rudest most disrespectful condesending dr i have ever had the displeasure to meet. Perhaps that type of bedside manner is acceptable in other parts of the world but not here it isnt. Obviously doesnt know how to speak with a patient and is seriously damaging the reputation of gp axis if he is like that with other patients. Wouldn't see him ever again.
