Golding Wines reviews
46 Location was beautiful, staff were friendly but, the
food was disappointing and not value for money.
We had an awesome day at Golding Wines. The weather is a little chilled but amazingly the sun came out and warmed up the day. The cheese platter in the picnic hamper was amazing, the pizza was enjoyed by all and the wine is great. A GOOD combination of good wine, food and gorgeous landscape.
This is a lovely winery with large grounds. The wine is tasty and popular. There is a lot of space to park and the winery can cater to big crowds. I would recommend doing some wine tasting here. My friends and I always enjoy ourselves when we visit. Thank you for having us.
Food was very disappointing. Huge waits between each course and the food was either bland or too salty. Wine was delicious though and the cellar door assistant was lovely.
Had lunch in a preset menu. Antipasto, salad and pizza. Our group was over twenty and their was another two groups in this massive area. Our table got served evenly, hardly any wait time between one side being fed versus the otherwise. The wine was fantastic. The staff was excellent. The grounds were gorgeous. They had a outdoor bbq which would be fantastic in summer. My only issue was that their was too much pork products versus non pork. The Lamb pizza was okay so was the pumpkin pizza the best was the mushroom, full of flavour and meaty. But like most restaurants needs more alternatives to pork
Beautiful old winery. Perfect place to spend a lovely sunny winter's day with friends and a few drinks.
