Golding Wines reviews
46Golding Wines was our dream wedding venue and that dream came true. An absolutely stunning venue, amazing staff, delicious food and wine. Our guests loved every part of our day here and we cannot wait to come back again. Tori and Crystal made our day go so smoothly and were so easy to work with. Big love and big thanks to everyone. Also dog friendly!
Amazing wine. The cheese board was a great match with the wine tasting flights we had. Loved the little snacks to go with the wine. We also appreciated the wine introduction given by Mary the attendant.
Food is always of a high standard. Great pizzas & good wine selection. Beautiful stone restaurant, friendly staff & great service. Sometimes busy so best to make a booking on weekends. Lovely outdoor areas over looking their vineyard. Highly recommended.
My daughter treated me to lunch here for my birthday. A beautiful ride through the hills followed by a very nice meal and amazing service from Eliza.
Forgot to send one of the bottles of wine I ordered, and they resolved it efficiently and fast. Great wines too!
Delicious food, delicious wine, great service, fire place, views.what more can you ask for! Well done!
We really enjoyed our experience at Golding Wines. The food was well presented and delicious. Our intolerance to gluten was no problem at all, in fact the food was quite possibly the best gluten free food I've eaten. The service was great too. Thank you.
We took our friends from N. Ireland on the Wine Safari experience and could not have asked for a better day. Lucy and Darren hosted us on a truly informative and interesting walk through the vineyards with added tastings, amazing food and views to die for.
Follow that up with an incredible lunch accompanied by matched wines and we were in heaven.
All of this happened on the same day they were preparing for a wedding at 4pm.incredible!
I cannot recommend Goldings highly enough, truly a day to remember.
PS we all loved your Savignin wine amongst many others.
Wow.what a place. The service was superb, staff were friendly and very professional. A+ to the chef and the food we had to celebrate a birthday was amazing.
Don't miss the Rose. Spent a beautiful afternoon here and loved every minute.
Thankyou.
As a wedding photographer I have shot weddings at a lot of venues and wineries around the state and Golding is one of the absolute best venues when it comes to photo locations and the quality of the food, wine and service. There are plenty of locations easily accessible on foot just a few minutes from the ceremony, for the more adventurous couples the option exists to hop in a car and do some exploring for some more exotic locations.
Whether it's vines, dirt roads, open fields or a lake you want, Golding has them all right there. And it's one of the few wineries that can hold a couple of hundred guests (or less than that with plenty of room to breath).
Highly recommended!
Quite possibly the worst dining experience of my life. And I eat out a lot. Pork bun not steamed but baked into a brick like texture. Entrees did not arrive together ie the offered to give me mine AFTER the main. Under staffed which shouldn't have been the case as they had significant bookings. Went to the pub after to restore my soul.
Lovely place with a nice view. It's small but cosy inside. However, none of the wines was particularly of our liking, which is a shame!
Wonderful afternoon celebrating a beautiful person's 40th birthday this afternoon. Great wine, great food, great service and great friends.
Great sparkling wines and the canapés that came out with the wines were delicious. Became a member and highly recommend
Had the most amazing Grazing Platter today, courtesy of a Christmas voucher from our son. We had the best view from The Barn, and the staff could not do enough for us. The atmosphere was spectacular. Thank you so much to the two girls on today 12/5/22.
Food was great service fantastic wines lovely! My only critisism. The chef out side making pizzas and entrees needs more heating poor guy looked like he was freezing I'm sure the winery can afford a few extra heaters outside where the pizza chefs are cooking. Not a good look when the poor guy has to wear a hooded jumper to keep warm whilst cooking. It's going to be a cold winter.
Rolled in just before 3: 30, sign stipulated that tastings end at 3: 30. Was made to wait for 10 minutes before we were acknowledged only to be told that we couldn’t taste or even purchase any wine. Such a shame!
Don't be fooled by the dirt road to get there, it's a gorgeous cellar door with a sumptuous aspect. There's an inviting lawn to picnic on to the right as you go through the paved entrance. I was greeted by a girl who stated the kitchen was about to close for 3pm. It was 1: 50pm. The truth being you needed a booking for a table.she said (maybe it was because of a large party.then say so!). For wine, the go is to try a flight for $15-$20, with a thrown in 'amuse bouche'. The wine is delicious and varied in the 5 varieties, in a setting that is prim and stylish. Didn't see wine priced by the glass here. For a more relaxed and informal setting on a good day, the lawn with it's sweeping views is panorama laid back in a glass.
Beautiful venue, great atmosphere delicious wine and food, have enjoyed many days here. Would recommend to all!
Attended a family wedding and it is a beautiful venue with lovely food and friendly efficient staff.
