Golden Boy

Great food and great service. I would recommend this to anyone. Left the restaurant feeling very satisfied.

Banquet here is amazing and such good value for money! Staff are also super friendly, will be back for sure!

Not impressed, we won't be back. We were forgotten twice! And our last dish, a curry, was COLD and had rock hard peas. Pumkin was also way too hard. The only reason I gave two stars not one was when our waiter apologised a second time he removed our drinks from the bill.

Amazing food made all that much better by our exceptional waiter Emma!
Emma knew what we needed before we did, her service was exceptional, great attitude and presence.

Nice food felt authentic and it is comparable to Thailand if any one visited and had food there.

Shared plate was good and enjoyable

I was puzzled to see the double shot size wasn’t comparable? Less in volume to other places!

your food was good for us and we all liked the food you served to us. Only comment i had was the portions was not correct for a group of 8 people and my comment was on the double shot measure which wasnt right either as i think we were give single shot and charged double!

This will not deter us not to come to you sicne your food was great in quality and thats what i compared to Thailand food in Thailand!

Food was fantastic. Good variety of dishes and all delicious. There was plenty of it too; we had 9 different dishes plus dessert. Not the cheapest but good value for what we got. Decor and atmosphere were nice. Place certainly was busy for a Tuesday night so definitely book ahead.

Food excellent. Outside heaters not working on the coldest night in years had to ask for blankets twice. If you are going to make Outside expected for groups over 6 you should give discount for uncomfortable seating and cold, maybe a btl wine or two could have been included.

We have eaten at golden boy multiple times and it never fails to impress. They have the best service (cheers to the person who looked after our table) and the best value for money 'feed me' aka tuk tuk menu. Delicious!

Had an absolutely amazing experience at Golden Boy tonight! Had the Tuk-Tuk menu and the staff were extremely helpful and were able to cater to the vegetarian and pescatarian needs of my boyfriend and I.

All the starters were appropriately sized, which left just enough room for mains and dessert - which were all brilliant btw!

One of the female waitresses in particular (with the orangey/light brown hair) was sooo friendly! We will definitely be coming back for that kind of amazing service again.

Potentially one of the best set menu experiences I have ever had. So much food and the quality of meals was unbelievable. Well done Golden Boy! Truely memorable experience and will recommend to any of my friends or family visiting Adelaide!

Loved our experience here. The food was excellent - we opted for the banquet so we tried a bit of everything. Stand out dishes were the sashimi, eggplant salad, and Sichuan beef. The service was excellent, the staff were super friendly and accommodating. We had a large group and never felt like we were lacking service

Went for the Tuk Tuk (just feed us) option. It was okay.a lot of effort obviously goes into the preparation but I wouldn't rave about it or venture back in a hurry. The best part of the evening was a very nice French chablis.

They asked us if we had any allergies, to which we said, seafood.
They served us seafood and mostly vegetarian, we didn't get a choice, they didn't ask us for any preferences or input which resulted in 3 people not being able to eat the main course (that we waited nearly 3 hours for).
They even forgot about us at one stage.
2 hours we were only served 2 entrees, one was raw.
The banquet tuk tuk was a waste of money, don't do it! Just chose your own!

There was no doubt that I have a wonderful dinner and the best service. But, they charged me twice In different days without my credit card when I saw my bank APP. I contacted their manager by Email and send the screenshot of the bank statement and hope to get a quik response and explaination. However，after one week I haven’t receive any email from them, but I got the refund shown on my bank APP，however，the amount is incorrect. I contact manager again for the incorrect amount and to be honest, I also wanna know why they can charge me without my credit card. But manager replied so rude and told me they didn’t do any refund to me and asked my phone number and credit card details. OMG, are you kidding me! Now I felt I am the person who make the mistake! I can’t give him my card details because who knows what will happened, charge me again? ! This manager really ruined the experience for dinning in Golden Boy!
I will never ever go there again and really hope everyone who dinning in Golden boy, please check your statement carefully, and never repeat my experience!

Enjoyed my dining experience here. Fully booked out on weekends (gotta get in early!), couldn’t get a booking in the restaurant even on a week night, had to be seated at the bar area, which was also has private tables and a nice ambience. One of the waitress seemed very rushed and rough towards the end, but otherwise service was quite friendly.
Food was really good. Had the Tuk Tuk and was served with chef’s selection for the night. 4 entrees (kingfish sashimi, pork belly, fried hard boiled egg, crispy fried chicken), 1 main (Green chicken curry with coconut rice to share) and 1 dessert. Highlights were the Kingfish sashimi, Pork belly with apple salad and the Puff pastry with Pandan custard. Great place to dine for an occasion.:)

Horrible service！Have been charged twice and with none refund. I have been charged on that day and charged again 2 days later！Even not the same amount！That was the first time I have ever encounter a situation like this！Watch out for your card！！！They steal from you！

Great customer service, beautiful interiors and artwork and the food was delicious. We had the yellow vegetarian curry and the beef cheeks. The beef cheeks were divine. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Great restaurant. The menu is not long however it offers key selection of most prominent cold and warm starters to choose from. The main course selection is OK but could be a bit longer. But still I found my fav meal and luckily the taste were awesome.

Amazing! We didn’t try the tuk tuk option but the server was so impressive and knowledgeable I have no doubt they’d come up with something great. Everything was delicious with great balance of textures and flavours. The dessert was incredible as well, one of the only Asian desserts I’ve truly loved. Come here with a bunch of friends (and remember to book) and you’ll have a great time.
