Exeter Hotel Semaphore

We stayed on Sat night and it was amazing. The rooms are beautiful, a bit small but very comfortable. They look like they have just been done up. The beds are so comfortable we didn't want to get out of it but as we had a noon leaving time we didn't have to rush. Bathroom was fantastic, love the shower. Had a meal which was also great. Can't believe it is less than $100 a night for accommodation. This has to be a best kept secret. We will return.

Great location, comfortable clean stylish rooms. Fantastic menu selection, and great fresh magnificently cooked meals. Highly recommended. Would stay there again. Very friendly staff and great service.

Food was awesome for the 4 of us. Service excellent and we all be going back to the Exeter Hotel Semaphore.

We came here with a few friends and young kids for dinner and 1 thing is certain - the kids pizza is a no go. It's Mccains pizza reheated in the microwave. Never have I had this from a pub - they are usually always made fresh in the kitchen. Adult meals were also average.

Kids playground is awesome though!

Some staff are lovely whereas other are unreasonable and demand that you are drunk wereas others get away with much worse.

Lovely hotel with a restaurant feel. Food was beautifully cooked and presented. The pricing was excellent, we had an very enjoyable lunch.

Good food. Good service. Good value:) Went there again today 12/2/19 for lunch and again didn't disappoint. Great food and service at reasonable cost. Excellent establishment - a favourite!

Good food, veg bar and lovely staff. The day we went it was, buy one meal get one free.

Alright place. Nice bits and pieces on the menu. Table service staff are very friendly. Just the food is a bit average.

Fantastic venue for kids and adults! We had a great time there for my 60th, easily catered for 30+ on a Saturday night. Kids loved the entertainment put on just for them - and parents appreciated the kids being kept occupied lol. Great job, Exeter staff!

The food was excellent for the price however the wait to get served was a tad longer than preferable due to it being New Year's Eve

Stopped here for evening drinks and nibbles while the kids played on the playground. There's three tables on the verandah with the playground, great in summer but would be cold in winter. Food was good but took a bit long. Kids stuff came out pretty quickly.

When there for a Christmas lunch. The burger meat was super dry and I didn't enjoy it. Was not worth the price. I have had better from cheaper at truck stops.

I could not have been any happier that I chose the Exeter to have my 40th birthday party. So so glad I chose this place. Staff were AMAZING (especially Mattea who went above and beyond) and the food was fantastic. Thank you again! Best party I've ever had.

Went here for Lunch and the steak was cooked superbly. All 5 of us enjoyed our meal and the staff who served us were exemplary.

Excellent venue. Recently was there for my friend’s 40th. Food was beautiful. I cant compliment the service enough The staff are absolutely amazing. Mattea and Tanya were exceptional. Definitely will be going back there

A family venue with a lot to offer for both kids and parents. 3 bars with a container bar at the back close to parking to enjoy open air drinks. Heaps of parking space. And last but not the least a very kind staff.
