We were at the Keg Bar (front bar). Nice local crowd. Good service
Classic pub bar. Super cheap counter meals.
The dining room next door is very family focussed on a saturday night. They jave children's entertainers and is great for families.

The workers in the bottle department especially the Chinese young man is absolutely rude and disrespectful to his elders

Really good quality and value meals here. If you are a Senior, the $13.00 offerings are great (and are full sized meals). Craft beer offerings are very modest, but good to see Pirate Life IPA there. We will definitely be going back.
UPDATE: April 2022, Seniors meals now $14.00, but that's still great value.

Spent a lovely couple of hours in the undercover outdoor area (the shed?) with family. The food and service were great, lovely relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend!

Great food and great service. Clean dining area and quick to bring out meals. Dinner rolls provided and they have drink and dinner specials on, with a lot of variety. Great amount of pescatarian options, pirate life on tap and a big call out to ALL THE STAFF, especially Brett who was a shining light after a rough day. Thankyou Brett and the team for helping to make my hubbys birthday better than it would've been without your fab attitudes. Garlic prawns and the seafood duo both great.

Bit disappointed with the meal my husband's roast was terrible the beef was dry. The vegetables very under cooked

Currently staying here atm and really disappointed with the service. We walked in to the gaming area, where we were greeted by a lady who told us to wait. Another lady came out with a very rude attitude and then attended to another person while she was talking to us. We then had to change rooms as the room she put us in smelt like the toilet literally even she said it. We went down stairs buy some drinks and again the lady that served us hadn't even taken our money before walking off again talking to another customer. Over all disappointed, but happy with the room they've replaced us with.

Barn like lounge, no atmosphere at all. The schnitzel disappointing, made off site, dry and overcooked. Partners salt pepper calamari was rated as good enough.
Front bar changed from the old days, but upgrade good. Still has the oval bar, which is my preferred.

Great place happy it was open today. Great food and kids playground is wonderful. Easy to access

Great pub, family friendly, but also has a front bar with betting facilities if dad wants to sneak off for a quiet one. Food always good and staff friendly. Nice outside area both covered and outside with smoking area also. Highly recommend to visit when in semaphore.

BEST meal in the area.

Seaford valentines meal omg is to die for. Seriously amazing.
The last month stayed in several hotels motels in the area this one I give 99.9 percent.food service & rooms perfect.

Me and my family had a wonderful time there the chicken and mashed potatoes with vegetables and mushroom gravy and the kids had a great time on the playground I reckonman sorry about the spelling go and have a wonderful time. I give the Exeter Hotel 10 stars

I unfortunately don't get to eat here often enough, as I work in hospitality too!
I would really like to commend the staff n management of this hotel in their dealing with customers who are problematic at closing times. (Those few customers who like to have an argument in the car park, swear, fight and just be general selfish asrses). I live on an adjoining property and feel (on the odd occasion that there is a problem) it is handled extremely well.

Beef cheeks sold out but the garlic prawns filled the gap nicely. His nibs had pie n mash.very fussy about his mash and he was ever so happy with it.

Had a voucher, thought we would try it out. Was not disappointed. Great menu, lovely helpful staff, comfy dining area and did I mention delicious food? Definitely going back soon.

My partner and I have been here a few times and everything is always fantastic. It's so relaxing and excellent service.
Tonight we were served my Kurt and Sean. They made our night as they are so relaxed, professional and nothing seemed too much to ask

Lovely food good price I guess we pay for wages too. A bit when eating out. I get table water as free.
