Emu Bay Holiday Homes

OMG this location needs to be on everyone’s bucket list. The view is breathtaking and the Amani property was better than the pictures. It’s a short but steep walk to the most amazing beach. We are really pleased we selected this site. And booking directly with Rene was another plus. Her knowledge of the island is remarkable.

Love it here, first time staying won't be our last.beautiful place and well looked after. The view is also stunning!

Lovely place to stay, the cabin overlooks beautiful emu bay beach. Peaceful and quiet, woke up with Kangaroos out the front. Nice to listen to the birds too. Would definitely stay there again.

This is now the 3rd time that I have had the pleasure of staying at Emu Bay Holiday Homes and there is no other place on the island that I would stay. After 5 wonderful days I am already planning my next visit.

Emu Bay has the best beach on the island and is so peaceful and pristine. From my accommodation at Emu Bay Holiday Homes, it made no difference as to whether I was inside or on the balcony, I had an amazing view of the beach and experienced some beautiful sunrises.

The wildlife is abundant…. Koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, echidna and a pair of pigmy possums, together with variety of birds …. All at Emu Bay Holiday Homes, and then on the beach during a sunset walk …. Pygmy Plovers.
You really do not need to go far to enjoy the wildlife as it is in Emu Bay Holiday Homes backyard.

Emu Bay Holiday Homes is a great place to stay and if looking for some great food, the Lavender Farm nearby make the best breakfasts and scones, and The Odd Plate in Kingscote is amazing if you are looking to treat yourself to a special dinner.

Very peaceful place surrounded by plants and overlooking the sea. The cabin is neat and tidy with everything you need. It is a pleasant stay.

Great well equipped apartment. Well maintained property and grounds. Loved seeing the birds having a bath in our bird bath. Beautiful views. Good place from where to visit the rest of the island as well. Helpful hosts.

Such a lovely place to stay. It is so peaceful and there is a lot of wildlife around.
It’s 3 minute drive from the beach. Saw koalas, an echidna and kangaroos on the property. The cottage was really comfortable and clean and had everything you would need for a relaxing holiday.

It was an excellent 5 day stay at Emu Bay Holiday House. Amazing views, koalas, kangaroos and birdlike. Just what we needed to unwind. Our Bay view apartment had everything we needed. It was clean and we had an amazing host. We will definitely return.

Absolutely stunning and magical property that has array of accomodations to choose from depending on your needs. The property offers local wildlife such as echidna, koalas and kangaroos right at your door. It's close to the beach too!

We did do our booking through a 3rd party, but even so, Rene was very attentitive, organised and easy to contact. A super host with a superior amount of local knowledge and a willingness to help.
On arrival we stayed at the Armani house. We are a smaller family of 4 and it was well and truly spacious enough with everything and anything you could need. Spectacular views and an exceptionally clean environment with gentle reminders to make us all a little more eco conscious.

The views were simply stunning and the cabins were quite comfortable. The deck at night watching the weather come in with a wine and a blanket. Need I say more.

Our cottage was beautifully presented with a view over Emu Bay. Perfect little base to explore the island. We were lucky enough to see koalas and kangaroos literally in the garden of our cottage. The owner, Rene, popped round on our first day on the accommodation and could not have been more helpful and lovely! We'll be back!

Absolutely loved everything about this place! Gorgeous views, sleepy koalas, comfy home with plenty of great amenities and did I mention the view? ! Great location too, with most attractions a short drive away. René was a fabulous host and gave us some great local tips!

This was our second time staying at Emu Bay Holiday Homes & in Shalom House & it certainly didn't disappoint. The first time we stayed was only for 3 nights & this time we had 9 nights which allowed us to see more of this beautiful island & to really enjoy what the accommodation had to offer. Hubby was able to catch some fish off the jetty which is less than a 10 minute walk, hence we had fresh fish for dinner. The owners are always so friendly & welcoming & I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone. There are many different styles of accommodation so the choice is yours.just get in early as it is a very popular destination.

Emu bay was the perfect place to base ourselves while we explored everything the island had to offer. Our experience was wonderful right from the start with the owners sharing useful information on what the island had to offer to help us plan our stay, great communication, very clean and well provisioned accommodation and they even threw in a bottle of wine and some other provisions made in KI which was greatly appreciated! Our cottage was just a short walk to the main bay, had a great play area for the kids and was surrounded by bushland and lots of wildlife. I would high recommend a stay and that everyone put KI on their to visit list. Thank you!

Beautiful location for a very comfortable stay with good amenities. Only a 15 minute drive to Kingscote. Had a mother and baby koala make their home in the trees a few metres from our back door, but I can't guarantee this for every stay!

What an area to stay in the views were beautiful, such good value for money and koalas as your neighbours! Will definently be back couldn’t recommend it enough

We recently stayed at Emu Bay Holiday Homes. We were very happy with our accommodation and the amazing views of the Bay. Rène greeted us shortly after our arrival and also gave us some trips for exploring the island. We will definitely be back in the future.

We loved staying at Emu Bay. First of all, Renee is a fantastic host: super attentive to our needs and very easy to get in touch with. She managed our ferry bookings and passed on a good discount.
Our house was the first of the complex, you can see the whole bay underneath.
The garden is a great opportunity to take pictures to the wildlife that lives there (koalas, echidnas, kangaroos and many many birds).
The house was very clean and the bed comfy. Definitely recommended!
