We loved our stay in the Rustic Cabin 1. The view was spectacular over Emu Bay. Sunrise in the morning and eating out on the deck was so nice. It was close to beach and only 15 mins to Kingscote where you can shop.
The Host was very welcoming and helpful.
Our Son enjoyed exploring the bird life around the property.
We would definitely return to this beautiful place.

One of the best holiday home we have stayed. Very peaceful and beautiful. We stayed in Cottage 4 which was very clean and neat. Just watching birds drinking and bathing on birdbaths is so calming. Hats off to the owners for maintaining them and promoting us to refill them making us part of the conservation.

Just 3 mins to the stunning Emu bay beach on which you can drive closer to the water without a 4WD (be mindful to not to get into dry sand).

Very well organised guidebook and Rene's coordination from the booking to leaving was super helpful.

Emu Bay Holiday Homes feels like a home from home, very cosy and homely, with lots of little things they have thought of like a great array of kitchen equipment, and bits for the kitchen (oil for cooking, ketchup etc) and a good size dining and living area. The house was very neat and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfy (we stayed in Shalom) and there were black out blinds too, we slept really well. The view is fantastic and it was great to sit and watch the little birds in the bird bath by the window. We saw kangaroos and koalas in the grounds very easily, its peaceful and relaxing, on a quiet part of the coast, its a short walk down to the sea. Shalom was set at the back of the property and has a lovely garden and deck, you feel private there and not close to the other houses. You don't notice anyone else around, except the wildlife. You are close to Kingscote and the amenities there as well as near the brewery, distillery and lavender farm. Ren'e was a very attentive and kind host and made us feel very welcome and looked after. She even found some koalas for me in the trees when she popped to say hello. Really lovely place to stay and we would definitely come back to stay again.

We had the most amazing experience at this place. It truly is a lovely place with the best view we have ever had in our lives. The cabin was impeccably clean and tidy, providing everything we could ever ask for in a space. The surrounding scenery was breathtaking, and to top it off, the presence of a resident Koala added to the magic of the place.

We can't speak highly enough of Rene, who was an exceptional host. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. We are already looking forward to returning in the future.

Location, location, location. Emu Bay Holiday Homes are situated about 1/4 mile above this incredible bay with spectacular views as well as visiting Koalas and Kangaroos. Each unit sits within its own land and is well equipped. The main township, Kingscote is a 15 minute drive away. A car is essential if you’re visiting Kangaroo Island - it’s a big island that doesn’t disappoint.

My husband and I stayed in Rene's place in Emu Bay for 3 nights whilst we explored Kangaroo Island. It was a special birthday for me and I can't imagine a more perfect place to spend it, the view was gorgeous and the house so comfortable, Rene has thought of everything you could possibly need for a very relaxed stay. The house is so well equipped, there are many little touches that make for an easy travelling experience, the detailed thought put into a recent refurbishment is impressive. Check in/out is super easy and Rene is a great communicator, she provides loads of information to help you plan your KI holiday, top tips and a few local treats to sample. Rene also came to tell us about the koala resting in a tree just behind Jireh house, seeing a wild koala so close was such a treat! Highly recommend Rene's place in Emu Bay if you're after a serene, stunning location and a house with all the conveniences appreciated whilst travelling.

Absolutely amazing. We loved every minute of our time at Emu Bay Holiday Homes. Rene is just fabulous and so accommodating. The view is incredible and the walk to the beach is very nice, my partner and I loved our time in Emu Bay and we cannot wait to return.

We chose the option among several of staying in a house. The building interior had been renovated to a particularly high standard, made all the more impressive by the quality of cleaning carried out prior to our arrival.
Furthermore the proprietors had ensured that the house was provided with virtually all supplies and equipment that any reasonable person might require. The furnishings and especially the bedding allowed for a most comfortable stay.
In conclusion if asked we would confidently
recommend Emu Bay Holiday Homes for an ideal family Island experience

We loved our stay at Emu Bay Holiday Homes, located up the hill from the beach, with incredible views, resident koalas, lots of birds and only a short walk to the beach this was perfect for us. We stayed in one of the cabins and it has everything we needed. Would recommend!

Recently renovated with modern facilities. We stayed in the Amani family house. Simply stunning view, good kitchen for cooking, living and lounge area with an electric fire place. Comfortable beds and spacious. One bathroom was wheel chair friendly. Gardens are lively with areas to sit and a kids play area. Between rooms was a little noisy. I enjoyed our stay.

We had the most wonderful four nights at Emu Bay Holiday Homes. We were in one of the cabins, which had everything that we needed (we cooked in for three of the nights) and the most stunning view.
And going for a wander every morning to check where the local koalas had located themselves overnight was a highlight.

Really beautiful little cottages set amongst the hills of Emu Bay. Really well looked after. Great little holiday retreat.

We recently stayed here and were absolutely blown away with the accommodation. Very peaceful, clean and comfortable. The wildlife right outside was amazing! Koalas, kangaroos and even an echidna kept the kids very entertained. The hosts go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. We absolutely loved this place and would recommend it to everyone. Couldn't fault it, absolutely beautiful place to relax and unwind and only a short trip to the most beautiful beach. Absolutely magical place.
