Worst experience ever. Dreadful service waited more than an hour for mains. Food less than average. Will never return nor recommend this place.

1st visit with my family, 2nd after recommended by our friend. Will NOT go back again. Poor attitude, service especially from the service guy. Ordered green vegetable from menu, but charged extra upon paying. Got told off by this guy instead 'You eat you pay, everyone pay the same price' but the price we charged was higher than on the menu! Arrogant, be-littled with the words uttered, and challenge to pay us out of his pocket if we continue making noise, WHAT! The point was we were not told the price is different from the menu and when we asked why, got told off as though we wanted discount. We never wanted and never ever go back again. Bad attitude and arrogant this chinese young guy (server) and complaint to the lady Manager, no action taken. Good luck, btw the food quality so-so, nothing spectacular.

Sadly, very disappointed and wished we had of spent the money elsewhere. The honey chicken was terrible: (no honey flavour, no sweetness, no crispness. The red onion in the garlic prawns turned grey and looked very unappealing. The sweet and sour pork tasted like cinnamon that couldn’t even be covered with the taste of the plum sauce. The prawn chips were more oily than I have experienced before. The stir fried vegetables were lovely though.

Always wanted to go here however the drab exterior prevented my attending.
Should not judge a book by its cover!

The food fantastic. Empress will now be my only Chinese!

Very bad service. The hostess was not trying to accommodate us. Instead she was showing her attitude as if its disdain to have us as the customer!

1st time at Empress. Really great, polite service and the food was really good! Even my chinese mum compliments it and that's rare!

Been here many times for Yum Cha. It’s our favour place for Yum Cha in Adelaide.

They are always busy but service is very quick.

Extensive Yum Cha menu and most dishes takes really good. Reasonable priced as well.

Best Chinese food ever. Do yourself a favour if you enjoy quality food and try here. It won't be your last visit. Good dine in experience too.

Poor service.dishes ordered weren't all served. Told staffs about the mistakes but all dishes were included on the final bill.
Wouldn't go there again.

In response to your reply.yes. I was not charged becuase I brought to your attention.if I didn't check the invoice I would had to pay for it.
Yes.it may be one of your trainee that may have mixed up the dishes.but I doubt it would the trainer that stuffed up the final bill and yet no apology was given.

I placed an order on Uber and pressed the wrong item. Rang the restaurant and they happily changed the item despite being very busy and having already cooked it. Good service! Thanks.

I really like the roast duck but to be honest the customer service is really really bad. I waited for half an hour for the entree and another half an hour for paying the bill. The staff was not friendly at all. I had a very bad experience and won’t come back even though the duck was good. My first time to comment on a restaurant only due to your poor service. Me and my friends wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Absolutely wonderful food, exceptional service, will definitely be back. Thanks for a great evening.
