Great food but slow service. Had to ask for everything (soy sauce, tea, etc), nothing was offered.

The service, the menu and the food are all noteworthy. It must be said that there could be more offerings for celiacs. Gluten free options are available, however the choice does have its limits.

One of the best options for Chinese dining in Adelaide!
Great value, fantastic variety, great decor and service. When its really busy there can be a bit of a wait for your meal. Usually prefer to go during the week when it's a little less busy.

The food is delicious and staffs are friendly. However, the indoor area is a bit stuffy. If improved everything is perfect

I would’ve no real issue with this restaurant if it weren’t for the fact that they have s*** customer service.

A family friend made a reservation for a large group of us to eat for her baby shower. However, 4 of the invitees were unable to make it at the last minute and she kindly told the staff that they could take the empty seats away for other tables since we had guests who couldn’t arrive. However, due to the size of the group, we still had to occupy two tables. When we went to pay, the owner chastised us for not ordering enough to make up for the people who did not attend and that we had to leave as we were not ordering any more food and yet still seated at the tables.
Firstly, it is plain rude to get aggressive at a paying customer over the fact that we didn’t order as much as you wished we did. It’s ridiculous that because 3 people didn’t show up, you expect us to order 3 more people’s worth of dishes. Last minute cancellations exist and especially in a world where we live with covid, if the invitees weren’t able to attend due to health related issues, you should be more understanding lest you wish to have another lockdown from another outbreak.
Secondly, if you had wished for us to order more food and eat quicker, you should bring out your dishes in a timely manner. We ordered a vegetarian rice roll that took nearly half an hour to arrive at our table. Moreover, it took 15 minutes for tea to be served and any other dishes we ordered through the menu took approximately 20 minutes to arrive. As someone who has worked as a kitchen hand previously, kitchens are always expected to prep many servings worth of ingredients and food before service starts so that service can be more efficient. It’s not a matter of cooking and reheating, it’s a matter of knowing what ingredients you can prepare before freshly cooking the dishes. It is ridiculous for an owner to not realise this yet blame their customers for eating slowly, perhaps being an “award winning restaurant” has blinded you to your restaurants blaring imperfections.
Lastly, it’s not as if the bill wasn’t expensive. It’s PRICEY. The food at this restaurant isn’t cheap but even so, we paid in full and tried our best to eat as much as we could. You should NEVER get angry at a paying customer! It’s basic courtesy and honestly, respect. This is a RESTAURANT. The most important people in a restaurant are IT’S GUESTS. I think many of the staff and even the owner should really go back to school and learn some BASIC RESPECT. Maybe even take a class in TAFE for hospitality since it really seems like the staff in the restaurant needs some severe retraining.

In sum, food is decent but customer service is s***. I sincerely hope you learn from this and actually consider taking a step back, stop being so prideful in your “award” and actually fix your customer service issues before it pulls your restaurant into ruin.

Delicious food. My favourites are the deep fried yam stuffed with minced pork and the siew mai! Mango pudding is also

Yummy food, service was run off their feet though, forgot our orders and requests several times. Last time I went it was much better.

One of the best yum cha in Adelaide. It was a pleasure dining experience. Definitely will be a regular there! (The food was so yummy, we couldn’t stop to take a photo before we almost finished everything haha)

The best Chinese in Adelaide outside of China town. Highly recommend the Satay for starter and Kung Po Chicken or Crispy Beef for main although everyone in our party of 8 enjoyed their food

All dishes seemed to be cooked to perfection. Very nice. Our party of about a dozen all concur. Recommended.

Restaurant dining is not just about the food, at least from the customer's perspective. When customers eat out, they seek an experience that leaves them feeling good.

Elderly waitress was very impolite. We booked our table until 7: 30pm but she asked us to leave at 7pm. What is the point to make a reservation in this restaurant?

Dry chilled chicken tasted like soap, the food was non edible, it was just awful, what a waste of money, unfortunately, we are getting to go for a friend's birthday on 17th, hopefully the food will be better, i have never had Chinese food as bad as this. Hopefully you will see to it or change your chef

Food was excellent but the lady with a blazer was very rude and unfriendly. The other staff were great, helpful and friendly, its only her that is irritating. Can you please replace her from entertaining customers and finding table for customers! She’s not doing a great job with that! We let it go with our first experience but this is the second time and she’s ruined our special day!

Had yum Sunday two weeks ago which was lovely (1pm sitting pre-booked).
Rang up Tues night and asked if I needed to make a reservation for Wed night yum cha. They said not necessary but preferred so I did.
Showed up and was shown to our table by a disinterested lady. When we were brought a 'regular' menu, we said we wanted the yum cha menu. Waiter said yes the menu contains about 3 yum cha items otherwise it's Al Carte. I said i had mentioned I was after yum cha when I made the booking. He shrugged and asked if we wanted tea to which we said yes.
The menu was good but not what we were after so we decided to leave just as the tea was placed on the table.
Went to the counter and said we were leaving as its not what we were after as I specifically asked for yum cha at time of booking. The older lady and the guy spoke to each other in their language and he said the tea would cost $4 (knowing fully well we hadn't touched it). I paid and left.
Poor customer service. Least I expected was an apology for the 'miscomunication'. Considering I traveled a good 40 minutes twice in a fortnight, I wouldn't be returning in a hurry if ever.

Food is okay, service from the boss lady is bad. Always grumpy, and only gives you a faked smile while you are paying.

Good food variety and quality, but don't expect a cheap food or friendly staff; the hostest is by far the less friendly, you would think she should be.

Good service, decor, lots of parking and probably the best yum cha in Adelaide. What’s not to like!
