50Great place to see our indigenous culture at work including public urination and defacation and fighting. Very exciting.
Beautiful park in the middle of the city. Large place, no crowdy, lovely river, one can go for ride in the river. Can do photography for a great view. But, you need to check the date and time if there is any event going on. Also, suitable for children to play on the large space.
A great way to see another aspect of Adelaide. Take the Popeye tour on the river Torrens from Elder Park for a round trip. The guide, Scott, was friendly and informative with a good knowledge of the history of the river.
There are a couple of good cafés nearby, for a good cuppa and chat, that overlook the park and the rotunda as well.
The park is very close to the CBD and it is an easy walk back to North Terrace for trams and busses.
Beautiful park with river walk. Smells wonderfully of eucalyptus and lemongrass and roses.prefect spot for a morning run to banish jet lag!

Adelaide may not be the busiest capital city in Australia but it is lovely to look around. Elder Park is just over North Terrace and is a peaceful setting. Sit and watch the wildlife on the River Torrens or even take a short trip on the river. Plenty of paths to walk / run along and lots of options if your looking for accommodation.
The yearly spot for New Years fireworks show. A breath-catching view with Adelaide Oval/Convention Centre just opposite the park.
Went here for a dinner evening, & as I'd never been here before I was happy with the meals & service. I had a great time.
Beautiful and spacious. Had a lovely night on New Year's Eve spent with close friends and the fireworks were gorgeous.
