Dunstan Playhouse reviews
56 Love the show
Down side nothing open for A meal
Thought they would have place open to have tea disappointed in the end as it was mothers Day.
Great theatre/ good performance. Lots of people not wearing masks. (. Not holding or drinking drinks). Not that many people would have health issues.
I didn't feel safe. Wont come again until the worst of pandemic over.
I went to see Hibernation at the Dunstan Playhouse. It was a great experience. Love that it supports many local people with this brilliant and thought provoking play. I always love the vibe here!
Have to wear a mask for the whole performance? You’ve got to be kidding me, yet you can go to an AFL game and watch it without one. Will come back when mask wearing when watching a performance is not compulsory.
Not happy wearing a mask when a full house football crowd is approved at Adelaide Oval with thousands of fans yelling and screaming. Love the Dunstan Playhouse, a fantastic venue for live theatre, best in Adelaide
Theatre is still good, notwithstanding i its age but renovations of Plaza is a nuisance to negotiate.
Great venue. Slightly perplexing that digital tickets weren't accepted, and that we had to pick up printed tickets from the counter.
Soft seats with standard leg room. For a tall person it's best to sit at the side. Access is a bit of a bottleneck due to COVID but the marshalls are trying hard to get people in quickly. Finding your door is more by intuition than by signage and the bar seems to be closed - COVID-convenience?
The place was nice and clean with great covid protection. The seats were squeaking when you or somebody moves
It was a torture being there for 90min. The seat was way too tall for me - less comfortable than public transport. Very disappointed in a first world country where short people don't supposedly exist.
Brilliant play laugh so much Ripcord.
Playhouse will look great when All the work will be finished outside.plenty of night life, with a new hotel and casino and festival Theatre.
It was the perfect venue for Vince Jones. He put on a most memorable performance, I definitely got my money's worth and then some.
Every seat in the house has a good view, small and intimate, but big enough to get a decent audience buzz going.
Great play. Black is the new White.
Very limited space to get to seating in the balcony. Poorly designed.
Very strong on Security and lacking in service staff. One person in booking office and only one staffing the bar prior to the show. Two during the intermission.
Hopefully a better total experience once all of the works are completed around the complex.
Nice little theatre, fairly easy access and good comfotable seats. Loved Technocircus, not so sure about 39 Steps! Great views from the outside terrace if you arrive early. Wish it was a little closer to transport for elderly or disabled. Sure that will improve once surrounding building work is completed
Exquisite performances, very talented cast and crew on every show, very friendly staff and a lot of fun!
Went here for a school play and brought a 20 dollar note with me. Unfortunately, there was no way that I could spend it on a soft drink. The vending machine only accepts 5 and 10 dollar notes, while the bar lady wouldn't accept cash. Ridiculous.
First time here - saw Vika and Linda. Great experience. Good show, lovely venue and very easy to access.
Philip Quast in his very intimate show at Adelaide Cabaret Festival was unbelievably powerful and emotional in one incredible show.
