Discovery Parks - Goolwa

New cabins are great value & when the improvements to the park are complete it will be a go to place for families. Friendly staff & as weve seen with a number of Discovery parks they do a sausage sizzle & pancakes for a gold coin with all proceeds to local charities. A great initiative in my book. Well done!

Sensational park, the new facilities are top quality. Once all the extensions and upgrades are done we are definitely going back for another stay. Staff are all happy and super friendly

What a great job Discovery Park Goolwa SA is doing to this park. Completely upgrading and new areas added. Concrete slabs to park on as well as big enough for annexe pad was fantastic in winter and with grass lush and green around us. Amenities and camp kitchen all fairly new and BBQ covered areas and fire pits with seating throughout the park. Congratulations on making your park so pleasant and adding those extras that makes it stand out above others. The children's playground still adding to and pool area and kids water park feature were highly commendable. Easy a 5+ from me for tidiness and cleanliness of grounds too. Very happy stay

Your park is great we stayed on a new powered site in April with concrete pad
It was the weekend after Easter park was at I’d say maximum soooo many people
The shower cubicals could do with some alterations trying to dry of while someone on the next cubicals water splashing on me please lower sides?
Doing no 1ns in urinals while people walk past entrance door and everyone can c on the deck
The rabbits the rabbits and more rabbits hard to keep my dog away lol
On whole we enjoyed our stay just those few things spoilt our trip

Great friendly staff good prices plenty of room, all new features play area for the kids new pool and amenities.

Beautiful caravan park so big lots for the family to do in there. We realy recommend you stay hear.

Stayed for a weekend in a economy cabin with the girlfriend & what can i say it was definitely value for money all we needed to bring was our clothes and food everything else was provided inside the cabin which was just great, i look forward to booking again. Staff are great and very friendly easy check in check out, easy access in and out of the park with a shopping centre just a few minutes up the road very convenient. Will definitely be a return customer.

This place is beyond great! Recently upgraded, well designed amenities, wonderful playground and water area. Very spacious park, definitely worth to visit

The brand new cabins are lovely to stay in, having an oven, full cooktop and dishwasher makes cooking so easy, and the view from the cabin of the pool and playground is great!

An amazing place for a get away with the family! The staff were fantastic and very accommodating. The facilities and amenities in the park were new, clean and very well maintained. The splash park, pool and playground were a huge hit with my kids!

You can't but help buy things when the going to Woolworths, we chose a small Trolley this time didn't help we still spent a fortune quality food at quality pricing

What a beautiful park. We where able to stay here with an awesome deal from Cosi. We loved the brand new cabins and the amazing kids area. Was such a relaxed time chilling on the verandah watching the kids play for hours. Highly recommended Goolwa.

It's a construction site woken every morning by machinery even a concrete truck. Twice a day had to sweep the dead grass and sand out of the van. Uneven lawns and trip hazards every where. Dead trees with over thirty years in the landscaping industry my advice is try turning on the taps and watering perhaps the trees would grow and the lawns would be green. New lawn was laid on Tuesday and van and 4 WD parked on it Thursday this is just bad management plenty of other site were available lawn should have a couple of weeks to root in. Great facilities but poor site maintaince

My little girl and I visited this caravan park to have a little bit of mumma-daughter time away from work and the stress of every day life. I was absolutely amazed by the welcoming service, facilities and beautiful cabins (we were upgraded which was completely unexpected and I'm still so grateful).
When we left I did the unthinkable - I left my daughters favourite toy in the cabin. When I asked them if they'd found her they sent me this message to show my daughter if she got upset.
My heart is bursting with gratitude for these awesome people!

Booked online but wished we had know there was a folk group playing in the camp kitchen all day and then all night. Would have picked another weekend or asked to be allocated a site further away. It was very loud and the camp kitchen was unavailable for others to use. Perhaps requesting they play for shorter sessions would be better for other campers in the park.v

We have stayed at every discovery park in south Australia and we honestly can say this park is the best out of them all the cabins are absolutely the most comfortable and best yet with all amenities are all together in one big huge inviting area you could not ask for a better family friendly park to stay at we highly recommend for everyone who hasn't yet to come along and stay the staff etc are absolutely fantastic people and more than friendly this is such an inviting and family friendly park to come along and stay you will not find anyone disappointed best discovery and gday park yet in sa

We were here for 10 days just before the grand opening, so lots of works going on. Large concrete slab site. New amenaties, lovely pool and play area for kids. It's a pity when designing these parks why they couldn't have left a walk way/path through the sites to the amenaties. Then ppl wouldn't walk through your site. It's only a suggestion. Tv reception is not great. We felt check in was a little impersonal, but maybe that is covid times now. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again. Hope the opening went well.

Jury is still out because the huge upgrades to this park haven't quite been finished yet despite heavy marketing. Most things had been finished. I think we probably got the only site that wasn't finished. Assuming the expansion gets finished it's got a lot to offer. The park has grown by almost 3 times. Short walk to Goolwa Main Street as well as, water park, jumping pillow, flying fix, pools, mini soccer goals, sites with double slabs and a few with their own fire pits. The kids will be stoked! New amenities although the showers are missing screens (pet hate) and probably overlooked but the gents need to be careful which urinal they choose to avoid putting on a show for any passerby. We stayed during Easter and never felt that the place was crowded.
