Discovery Parks - Goolwa

Came here and stayed on the new powered ensuite sites.

Everything was amazing here. Great facilities, clean, new private ensuites. New waterpark and pools. Massive skatepark and pump track out the back.

Lots of activities and visiting food trucks and Gin Tastings to entertain both the adults and kids.

Great park to stay in. Kids have an awesome time here. So many things to do. Water slides, splash park. 2 pools and 2 jumping pillows, playground, heaps more. The cabins are clean spacious and have everything needed. Check in was fast and friendly. Highly recommended.

Camp site nice and big, the kids loved the pool and water park but the toilets and showers needed to be cleaned a lot more as the park was very busy and they were very dirty, the service / communication with the reception staff was not very pleasant as when calling several times trying to find out how much we needed to finished paying no
Answer or not receiving the invoice emails when reception staff said they had sent it.

2nd visit, a year later, and WOW what amazing improvements. Absolutely 1st class facilities, family friendly areas, games facilities, pool, everything is outstanding. Well done team on such a wonderful stay. Park staff were great.

I'm sad to have to give it a two star rating on my experience, some thing are easily five stars, facility's, park design, play area for kids, the pools are heated, playgrounds, site sizes, all 5 stars. I was so happy to see kids out playing and having fun.
However we had a deluxe site it was lovely, but with soccer goals just behind these sites, caused lots of issues, I personally was hit with balls 4 times, our van hit at least 5 times that we know. People just walking through your camp site because they didn't realise it was all our site, take wood out of our firepits. It is a 5km speed limit but bikes and scooters could go at any speed on paths.

Awesome splash pad slides and playground for the kids. Had a holiday program running art and craft and a sport set up outside. Movie night for the kids too! Plenty of space clean new amenities.

Great park. Excellent amenities. Could not fault in any way. Great for children, although we prefer parks without all the jumping pillows, etc. Enough room not to be bothered by noise

This location is for mum and dads but kids will love this place as well. All year round. Charlie xxxxx

Decided to take an impromptu night away and I’m so glad we did because we have found a gem of a caravan park. Even in winter there is still so much to do especially for the kids. Beautiful park. They had a pizza van so we enjoyed wood oven pizza for dinner. The staff were kind enough to let all the kids in the park ride the go karts for free for half an hour which mum and dad enjoyed too. We didn’t have a fire but loved that you could have a fire pit at the tent sites. The playground was well enjoyed by the kids and the bmx park right next door was a hit. Overall it had a great vibe and we can’t wait to go back in the warmer months and enjoy it even more! Thank you!

This park is becoming one of the best in Australia. They have done so much work, and there is more to do. I hear another pool and more streets to be added at some stage.

Definitely the best coastal park south of adelaide.

Great camping and caravan park. Showers in ablution closest to the entrance could have been better but everything was serviced and cleaned impeccably. Sites could've been a little larger. The office could stay open for a little longer on a Friday evening when everyone is arriving. It was a really nice touch by park management to have some sausage sizzles and pancakes. Great on the whole, Kids and I really enjoyed it even though it was a little far away from the beach or estuary and Hindmarch Island.

Wow, what a beautiful park. We had an unexpected prolonged stay in Goolwa, the staff were amazing and so helpful from the admin staff, the care takers and the grounds staff were all so friendly and helpful. The grounds were well taken care of and very clean, the kids activities were great and the amenities were alway cleaned (even with the park full with holidayers) thanks for making our stay great, we will defiantly be back.

Lovely Park. Lots of entertainment for kids. Horse stables next door, so you really feel like you are in the country. I really enjoyed my stay here. Amenities are great.

Nice park good size sites gets busy on weekends with kids. Long walk to the amenities when the park is busy, should have left walkways between roadways like other parks do.

Fabulous park. Cabin was clean and comfortable within easy range of children's facilities. The kids water park, playground and pool were awesome. An outdoor movie night was held Saturday night. Throw in a Sausage sizzle and a pancake morning. Fantastic Park!

Loved the location of our site and the kids play equipment. The only downside was that the pool was not heated, nor the splash zone. Even though it is summer, it is too cold for the kids and other families were commenting the same. We checked the second pool as the website said one of the pools was heated, and the pool was dirty and also not heated. Such a pity as it was the reason we chose this park.

What a lovely Caravan and Cabin Park. A home away from Home feel! Beautiful cabins, very spacious and well appointed! Lovely entertainment areas! 2 Pools, BBQ areas. Camp kitchen, the list goes on and on! I highly recommend this Discovery park as a terrific place to stay!

Great new built facilities with terrific camp kitchen with TV and tables under cover. Excellent pool and waterpark. Landscaping and paving in new section very good. Wide roads for manoeuvring caravans. New section well grassed though drainage issues meant some weren't able to stand up to vehicle movement, cutting up site. Stayed in old area - more secluded and sites less prone to surface water. Overall a great park.

Beautiful park, very family oriented. They are working really hard at making it a great park, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The kids club is amazing, my girls loved every minute of their activities, it kept them busy whilst mum & dad could relax. Thankyou Goolwa Discovery for a wonderful stay.
