Ding Hao

Only two places in town for quality Yum Cha and this is one of them. Fantastic prices. You'll eat till you near explode without emptying your wallet

Delicious meals. Head chef takes pride in his trade and obviously refines his skills constantly. Rare to be disappointed eating here. Top notch floor manageress. Place can do with some jazzing up though.

One of my go to places for yum cha. Service and quailty of food have improved greatly and staff are now more friendly. Food is consistently good now.

Now that I can't eat in Hong Kong l eat Chinese here. It's even better. And fresher.and no airfares.

Came on labour day. Place was packed, but they did find us a seat for yum cha.

That’s when it fell apart. Limited choice of dishes. Very few of each one. They only served steamed dumplings twice in the 90 minutes we were there.

Those that they did serve: a mix. Scallop dumpling was mostly prawn. Prawn and parsley dumplings OK.

The rest of the dishes - take it or leave.

Had an amazing dinner with my friends here. Great service and great food, the menu feels huge and the variety of food doesn't reduce the quality of what's served. Have some great memories of this place, and have come a few times in the past weeks after my initial visit.

Don't judge a book by its cover! When I first saw the Ding Hao sign, I wasn't very excited. But the restaurant is SO much nicer than expected inside! I ate here on a lazy Sunday afternoon lunch and was highly impressed with the food and service. All the items that I ordered were perfectly organized and looking very tempting. And yes, the food was literally awesome, will definitely visit here in the coming weekend!

Exceptional Chinese food, the best yum Cha and above all fabulous service which is very personable. Dishes are reasonably priced and cooked to order. To me this is the benchmark when it comes to Chinese food in Adelaide and so far (after countless visits) it’s ahead by a country mile. I have never had anything but great dining experience at Ding Hao. Very highly recommend this place.

Memories made under this roof are the happiest from the day I first came to Adelaide. Couldn’t recommend other restaurants as Ding Hao has everything you wish for in a decent Chinese/Canto- restaurant.

Always come back for a comforting Chinese meal with my girlfriend even tho she’s vegetarian. (They have a wide options for vegetarian friends as well, just ask nicely and enjoy what Ding Hao presents to you)

Food is good here at a reasonable price, the worst thing about this place is the entrance. When it's busy you have to line up in the door way, this is not a great way to look after customers who spend lots of money

Pinking duck not cooked enough, skin color very light, meat is pink, blood came out.not good service

Being a Canuck & Hong Kongese, Ding Hao has done a fairy good job for General cantonese cuisine. Vacationing at ADL for 5 days, we dined at DH twice, a dinner and yum cha. Dinner is great, fresh food, deep fried squid and chicken dish are delicious. House special Fried rice served in a mini wok is a neat touch. Yum cha is ok, pan fried beef noodle 干炒牛河and congee are great. Rice rolls w wrapped Chinese chopsticks donut is a must try dish (even better if they could serve w Hoisin sauce). However some dim sum were served not as hot as we expected eg stuffed green pepper. Service is excellent, lots of staff and they are helpful. I've been coming here to enjoy Yum Cha for years. They've been continually improving and it can be hard to get a table on Sunday if you do not book. We enjoy the clean flavours in the steamed dumplings and Chinese greens. Crispy fried calamari is a favorite, fluffy BBQ pork buns, delightful Tea duck and egg custard tarts. Consistently good. Great staff with good attitude and the best maître d running the restaurant. Highly recommended.

This restaurant ticks all the boxes. Without a doubt one of the best restaurants I have visited lately. Being my first experience in a Yum Cha environment, I was immediately pleased with the menu range, the friendliness of the staff, and, the overall value for money. The staff are the highlight of this review. They were unbelievably helpful with explaining their ordering/paying system and even suggested what dishes to try and how many to dishes to order. Being Yum Cha, the food/tea floated around tables very frequently as expected and the orders made came back within 10-20 minutes. I cannot recommend this place enough.
